I was in the preview program till last night, I contacted MS support and opted out. I installed the commercial release of the dashboard OS and the problem is still present. The patch you are talking about solved the issue with the beta OS, something in the likes of the system not flushing cache properly, freezing games and making roads disappear.

If you guys wouldnt mind would you try something? I put my xbone into ‘offline mode’ in network settings, and im sure its happening less frequent, like the serverd are creating the problem.
Not sure how or why that is but it seems to be happening much less.
Problem is still there in offline mode. I’ve come to the conclusion its an issue with the cache/memory making the audio stick/clip. Cold rebooting your console is temporarily fixing the issue, but 15 minutes into gameplay the issue will return and get worse the more you play. Now my cars do this basically every time I accelerate. Forza Horizon 2 is broken and im putting it down until this is fixed. Its literally unplayable. For me at least. What a joke, does anyone Q&A these games??? Very unhappy customer here.
I MISS WIND NOISE!!! I miss a LOT of wind noise, there even is not any wind noise. Adding windnoise adds so much more realistic feel of speed. I want to hear the wind while driving 180kph down the highway and I want it to oversound the engine.
I know you are working hard T10 but hopefully something can be done soon about this audio lag glitching. The shifting and collision audio lag is making some cars ( some, like the Veneno, are just pretty much un-driveable while others seem ok) pretty much unbearable to drive. I’m sure this has been posted somewhere in another topic but I will just report it here, no time to go looking around when I have too much driving to do! Thanks again T10.
It seems to happen quite frequently for me, like once every 5 minutes of driving. Also there’s the occasional spilt-second freeze, which I guess happens while its calculating skill points or notifications sometimes. I hope these issues get addressed in a patch eventually.
I too am having this issue. Re-install/Hard reset don’t resolve this problem for me.
I have the digital day one edition, with over 100gb of free space on my HDD (internal).
I’m not part of the beta program, or ever was.
I run with braking line as my only assist. However, I did change my dead zones which I thought could be the problem. But alas, the sound bug remained even after returning to the defalt settings.
As I’m the only one of my friends with the digital version, this bug, I’m assuming, does not affect the physical copy as none of my friends have this bug with the disc version.
Either that, or the bug is intermittent upon installation.
Turn 10, please patch this - It’s destroying my playing experience.
I have the disk version and have the same problem, so I don’t think that’s the problem, it seems that the system not properly flushing the cache memory to me.
Disk version. Same problem here. Played the demo for weeks and the full version for days without problems. First noticed it on saturday morning. It’s getting worse since then. I’m not in the dashboard-beta btw.
Unfortunately this didn’t work for me. I turned my damage to simulation then drove from Nice to Castelletto. During the trip I experienced 5 noticeable rev lags and one of the sub-second full screen game freeze moments.
