This is becoming a real problem now, engine sounds are cutting out, going quiet or getting stuck. Is anyone else getting this issue? It’s happening so much now i can’t drive using manual gears because i can’t hear the engine.
I get it quite a bit on the Xbox One. I also use manual with clutch if that makes any difference. Swapping cars does it sometimes. It also stops you from changing the radio station while its happening. Slamming the car into reverse seems to fix it sometimes.
No, I’ve had it loads on the Xbox One X, I reported it as a bug fix in the wishlist thread. Everyone who experiences it should report it through the proper channels. The stability of the game seems better since the last update, but I still get quite lot of audio problems, missing bits of scenery, the concept of classes sporadically disappearing so a blueprint doesn’t show the class and if you create a new blueprint you can’t choose a class, and sometimes it just getting into such a bad state that the whole console becomes pretty much inoperable and has to be powered down.
At 32 Minutes - See how I made the Floating brakes appear.
at 48 Minutes the Audio Glitches start

Then, Finally at 1:04 I Park in the Bamberg Castle, with a group of unhappy looking spectators.
The engine and game sound freezing is starting to get real annoying making it unplayable. Anyone else agree? Xbox one im using and it is progressively getting worse. Just when i get comfortable playing the game that hardly works it happens. Grrrrrrrrumpy gamer
I’m not sure if this is where to post it, but I need to see if im not the only one getting this.
Every now and then, maybe 3 or 4 times a play session the audio will be become stuck, playing only a second or 2 worth of sounds (all game sounds at once, not one particular sound) for maybe 1 or 2 minutes at a time. I’ve had it happen for up to 3 minutes. Before the sound catches up in one big yelp of a thing where all the audio for the minute it froze happens at once sped up.
It’s weird and I didnt really do the best job explaining it I guess, if I can get it in a clip I will.
I know what you are talking about. It happens to me quite often. it just will be a loud monotone engine noise for a minute and then it catches up all at once. Not too big of a problem but is is weird and hurts a bit with headphones.
Also the Pagani Zonda Cinque sounds great at low rpm but the audio just completely distorts when driven about 30 mph. The audio also sounds very glitchy when backfiring or downshifting.
