hello everyone, for awhile now ive been experiencing sound issues. engine sounds mainly, they “stick” to a certain rpm or cut out completely. i can sometimes hear background noises in real time (at least i think its real time its hard to tell) while the engine sounds “stick.” sometimes all audio cuts out, but it seems like the audio is somehow falling behind the game. if the audio starts acting really bad, ive even had it make my input seem delayed (rarely but happens). ill press left to steer left and then a second later it will turn. it almost always “plays catch up” to get back up to speed, but when it cant i think thats when im getting the crashes. its also usually during forza live events. im playing on xbox one x with the game installed on a western digital external 4tb drive usb 3.0. i also have the xbox set up with optical 5.1 surround sound, but usually i use the tv speakers to play the game with just hdmi stereo. my pc is also connected to the surround sound also so that what im usually watching/listening to on my second pc monitor while playing h4, hence using the tv speakers for the game. not sure if its because the two different audio outputs or not. inever have any issues with the dual audio in any other games. ts really hard to use manual gears when i cant hear the game, plus the crashes and lost forza live points. anyone know of any fixes or have the same problems? if anyone needs more info of my setup to figure it out please ask, more than willing to help fix this. <3
I’m also experiencing the engine sounds either “freezing” (constant RPM) or dropping out altogether. Been like this since installing Fortune Island. Game installed on XBox HDD.
