No , you can’t. You have to go to Cars>Change color everytime. it is extremely crappy and surprinsingly slow. Similar to FM7. When you are inside any other menu you have to exit to go there. it’s just crap.
Wow. Quite a thesis.
Try using paragrapghs and bullet points/lists and more would actually read it.
I would 100% support a massive DLC for FM7.
Perhaps this would be more your speed?
That guy presumably never read a book in his whole life.
It’s so frustrating as FM7 reached a really solid place after all it’s improvements. All i was looking for in FM(8), was a general improvement on that. Yes, a few certain aspects are better but on the whole, it largely just feels like it’s gone backwards.
Did you never learn to read in school?
I have made a (quick) calculation I drove the Ford 2+2 Fastback in free training For level 25 it took me about 1.5 hours That means I reach level 50 after about 3 hours and that’s only 1 car out of 500+ So for 500 cars you have to drive 1500 hours I have 2 hours a day for games That means I need about 2 years but there is a point We’re getting even more cars into the game But I don’t want to talk bad about everything The graphics are great, the sound is good and the handling is fantastic Of course there are bugs and a lot can still be improved But the CarEp system will drive players away rather than motivate them
I do not have any idea how people are reaching level 50 so quickly.
It took me 7 hours to max the Type R I chose to start with.
That is an appalling disrespect for players and their time.
That’s a bit of an exaggeration. You don’t need to level every car to 50. Many will just want a car at the top of its stock class.
Other cars have all of their upgrades unlocked by level 20, primarily the actual race cars.
FM7 would be a better “vanilla” release to build a live service game off of. 30 tracks, 700 cars and 59 championships (that’s 344 races) and 30 showcase events at release. That’s a great starting point to just continue adding content to. That game was jam packed with content.
well put. super sad to see this as I am a massive fan of FM. This one feels so scammy, careless & out of order.
Just look at the breadth of content in FM7. No wonder I never 100% completed it.
Sorry, it started as a rant on my cellphone and quickly blew up as more and more came back to mind. This website kinda sucks for posting from a phone.
I’m pretty sure that some (all?) of the voiceover track description is AI generated voice.
I still can’t put my hands on the game, but from what I see and hear, with a Wheel that has FFB, the game is great, just because of this I would not return on FM7.
And also the thing they have to update is the opponent arrows, they should add distance in meters/feet to them to understand where the other players are behind you.
Also the possibility to Paint the windows, is this possible now?
They want to waste your time on the game, its a feature of games made for gamepass. Like Starfield, they get paid by Microsoft for player time spent, so they slow everything right down and remove ease-of-play features to increase your time spent on their boring unfun game artificially.
My g923 works great on fm7 just saying. Both games are realistic with the wheel.
To be honest force feedback in FM7 is a joke compared to Forza Motorsport, I use a Thrustmaster TS-XW
Rather thorough review. You took me back with some of the old gameplay trivia, thanks for that. I’ve also been playing (mostly drifting) since FM1.
After seeing that there was no drift playlist option in early access, I thought a online multiplayer drift playlist would appear with the official Day 1 launch, but no I guess not. Weren’t drift lobbies Day 1 ever since like forza 3? After spending all my early access time driving, building, tuning, testing, and practicing the tracks to drift them… the playlist is still nowhere to be found.
I also do not play Horizon and skipped FM7 due to its lack of Toyota and licensing issues, so i’ve been super excited for this release. Maybe they will be nice enough to let me drift with other players online some day like I could in every previous iteration, and 100% came to play and paid for. Very let down so far.
