I’d assume some kind of glitch is more likely. Even with a modded car they can’t bend space time.

Update! Hopefully Turn10 sees this because if they don’t fix it, it’s their own damn fault. On a whim, I decided to set this guy as the rival in Rival Challenges. I wanted to see what his ghost would do. The answer is nothing…there isn’t one. But after a couple laps, I quit because I don’t have the flux capacitor upgrade installed, so I didn’t see the point. After 2 laps, I earned over 84k in credits. The reason is because with this guy’s lap time, it sets the opponent bonus for him at 3,931%. One lap will net you about 43k in credits. So I can imagine there will be some people exploiting this once someone figures this out.

if only they would figure this out though! I can only imagine the 3-4+ hrs people spent racing through the single player trying to get the credits for the f1 car when (when they figure this out) can have it in 20 minutes

I’m not really that good it was a drag race and i just found a better tune then him. As far as money goes I have made enough just driving around with friends in private lobbies just do 5+ laps. That being said there were a couple of time I wanted to buy a car and couldnt afford it so I just hoped in the E21 T10 was so nice to give the VIPs and ran 50 laps on Indy, very boring but a quick fix for credits. I’m sure one day you will be able to make money with the marketplace when its no longer “coming soon”

Yeah, I had to go back and edit my previous post. Just as an experiment, I went back to the same track and set the #2 person as the rival. It still showed a very high opponent bonus percentage. But setting that #1 person as the rival and playing for even just 15 minutes brings in over 500k.

We’ve been hoping that T10 fixes the LB cheating issues for years. Much like most of the issues that have been plaguing the franchise for years. The only reason the LB issue hasn’t been resolved yet, is likely because T10 has no idea how to go about it without removing the entire LB system…LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE THAT WAS BROKEN.

Can’t fix it? Get rid of it. That seems to be the mantra for T10 now days.

Came on the forums to post the same thing. The glitched time is still on the leaderboard plus I found P and S class cars on an A class only leaderboard. Check the track days Alps Adventure event.

Noticed this bug on this track the other day by accident. I had a friend as a rival after a career race and after about 5 laps I quit and had 170K earned from beating my rival. I was pleasantly shocked. lol

The bad time in question is still there. The total amount of gamertags on the Silverstone leaderboards have increased dramatically. I would like to set new times on this course but I refuse to exploit this problem.

I’ve already sent an E-mail to Turn 10 about this issue so I’m hoping that a Turn 10 staff member, who visits the forum, can address this issue. I’m just trying to update the situation and don’t mean to cause problems on the forums.

Go ahead and set your times. All you have to do is buy a car or two that equals your winnings and then remove them from your garage if you don’t want to feel like you are taking advantage of this situation.
