I am awful new to gaming but when you are trying to set a new record it is impossible. Do to the fact that the distances and scores are impossible to get under normal play. Most of the good legit players have close scores and then you see someone’s global record is 2000’ longer than possible what’s the point of trying just to find all these bogus numbers on leader boards.
Also I see now there are Holden Commodores 77 that have a drag speed off 18 seconds with a car that is C class and the stock index.
I think it is time to fix this so legit players have a chance.
If you see any obvious glitches/hacks like a stock Plymouth fury clocked above 300MPH, or anything that could be “imposible” it is likely a glitch. Report them is all you can do. some of these times and scores etc. are legit glitches that need to be looked into. And of course some are actually legit but godly when compared to what we mere mortals can achieve. So my point is, don’t get carried away reporting just because you can’t beat them. Look it up on youtube and there’s probably a video of how to this or that best for a particular PR stunt. If I didn’t drive the D class car and put the scores up myself, I would never guess that the Alpha GTA at 500pi D class, is the best drift car in the game according to my personal best drift zone scores… again try to be open minded.
New ones popping up as well. You can still attain glitched tunes by downloading from storefronts. Then leave garage, enter straight into Rivals/Online Lobbies then the glitched gear ratios are re-activated.
Totally amazed this still isn’t being resolved fully. Some boards like S1 Tugen Bypass Sprint has 9 of 11 times on top that’re these glitched tunes and many more still further below.
I put the blamy entirly on the utubers showcasing the glitches making them out to be something fantastic and totaly epic you must do to get top scores and speeds. And speed up you ranking in the game.
Thanks for all the response it’s good to find out about glitches and I guess some people will try to find them instead of playing the game as it was intended I will just be happy knowing I tried my hardest. I will accept the fact that at some point on the leader board the scores stop being legit. First video game ever at 62 been playing about six months and love it one day I will get all the non game things figured out.
I do a lot of Rivals runs. I enjoy using Rivals as a way to check out my setups and upgrades on my vehicles without any other cars or problems. This also tells me how I am doing time wise against my fellow Forza drivers. I run all classes and have found some reallly horrendous errors time wise on Rivals. I have a real good C class Camaro that I run and I am in the top 1% of every race I run, but I find that the top times are sometime real unreallistic. I believe it was City Sprint where the times were almost 40 secs faster than what I could do. I did report it to Turn 10 and they did remove those times. I have quit reporting them because there are a lot of times that I believe are unachievalbe. I am happy just being in the top 1% of what I post and like I said earlier it is a good course for trying your setups.
I wish more people were serious about the leaderboards like you.
I like the leaderboards but I’m always playing the older games first, so I doubt they will fix the first Horizon leaderboards, for example. But it’s good to see people doing this on the current ones at least.
I don’t want this to come out wrong so please do not take this as me attacking you. You must be the fastest driver on Forza Horizon 3 to try and justify that a lot of real fast times were done doing hot laps. What I was referring to was for example: A sprint race that I run in my “C” class camaro my best time being say, this is just an example not an actual time, 2:45:10 and I am #55 on the list. When I look at the top time it is somewhere about 2:10:05. Can you possible explain how someone can beat my time by 35 seconds in a C Class car? My club leader is one of the best FH3 drivers I have ever seen, always wins, 90% of the time online, has some of the fastest Rival scores and even he is being crushed by 30 seconds. Usually from #1 to # 10 the times are separated by say 2 secs then it jumps about 20 seconds to the next group, how can you explain this?
I run in the HLR by HLR Moss on a weekly basis (can be found in the tuners section of the forum or HLR Challenge) and have placed just outside the top20 on a couple of occasions although normally around 50 to 100. That best place for me was about 15 seconds off the top times and this included downloading the tunes that the top people ran with.
Another example of how fast certain people are is I have a B class Mazda MX5 Miata shared. I ran it to a particular time and suggested to one of my friends to run it instead of going straight to one that everyone else was running. He ran it 10 seconds faster than I did after just 2 runs.
Are you running RWD or AWD? This makes a huge difference in this game, actually too much. There are some people who can make this work, two of them contributing to this thread, (SitNiteEduardo and Precision Blast), and they are close to the top of most leaderboards.
I would never criticize anyone who I see run a lot faster than I do. That being said, I usually run AWD seeing as I can’t get my logitech wheel to work with FH3 and I have a lot of times that are top 60 out of 500,000 racers. I just want to see it for myself if someone is running 25 to 30 secs ahead of me and I am #52 until I see it I can’t believe it. I work a lot on my tunes. I have been online racing since about 1998 so I do know a thing or two.
I know that fast times are subjective and I never would say anything bad about someone running faster, but you have to admit some of these times are unrealistic.
One other note I don’t know if it was this thread or another but I questioned how a few Lambo’s and Ferraris were racing and posting times as a C class care when they are stock S1. This was handled by the moderators here and the times disappeared. I also know there are people actively using Trainers on online racing and in Rivals. I have actually had a guy admit to doing it. Go online and some of these gaming websites say don’t use these trainers online, then brag that they only have had 5 people banned out of 1 million downloads. You know what I am saying. I just wish everyone would keep it clean and have a good time racing.
The HLR competitions has many of the fastest racers competing on one course in one class for an entire week, or longer. Many are posting in this thread and put alot of time into their builds and tunes for that specific track and class. I have learned alot reading their thread and recently joined in. Give it a try if you are that serious about rivals. My own personal improvement in the last few weeks has surprised me.
With that kind of focus, it shouldn’t surprise you that the competitors took all 10 of the top spots last week.
This week, they are beating glitched tunes using legit tunes. Fast bunch they are.
Sounds about right as in FM6 I post times about 10 to 15 seconds slower than the top times and this puts me any where from the top 1% to the top 20% of the leader boards.
PG is going to look into this. There was a content update that should have reset tunes running this bug for all cars (gear ratios not being cleared from the tune when reinstalling non-tuneable transmission parts). But it appears that the EB110 issue still lingers.
Thanks for noticing Jonk. To be more exact though it’s the transmission ratio glitch that still lingers, so the issue basically still persists for all the previously affected cars.
EDIT: It’s just that EB110 glitch is most popular as you can get the most “benefit” from the unlocked top speed. There’re other “popular” top glitched scores elsewhere including Evos/WRXs A-Class, 22B B-Class and few other B cars by a certain player.
I assume jonk knows what player you are referring to… My suggestion would be to remove these tunes from the storefront, but that does nothing about the tunes already downloaded.
