Anyone heard if T10 is going to do anything about this? I’ve been in some online races with a guy doing this and it’s ridiculous how fast his cars go. A class cars with P class speed and grip.
I ran across a similar player in League with Sport Touring a couple days ago. Saved the replay and spent an hour making sure I wasn’t missing something. The class was 675 Sport Touring and his car had to at least be 100 PI higher. His lines were garbage and he would pull away and be over a half lap ahead of everyone multiple races in a row and he was not a leaderboard driver.
I ran across another guy last night in A class. I was watching him in spectate mode and I have to say it was comical he would run full power into the sharp turns on VIR and just turn in like he was on a train track. He had at least double the HP as well. This is what cross platform has gave us I knew it was coming I just hope T10 does something about it or this will be my last Forza. I don’t mind being beat fair and square but I will not keep being cheated.
I am glad you are not naming people, as there is every possibility you are wrong. Given the scope of upgrades that can be applied to the cars in Forza, and the combination in which they can be used. Builds based around engine power and then compensating with TCS is a thing in Forza, and has been for a very long time. The issue here, is that you have no video showing what is happen. Though you would have to remove all names to show it in this context. But at the very least, you could post what car it was, what times the person was running in said car, and what the max hp and torque was showing in the telemetry. This would at least allow people to test build this car up in the respective class, and see if this is possibility by the scope of the upgrades combined with TCS and driver skill.
In all seriousness, it would make much more sense than screaming out that having Forza on the PC is to blame. Considering that some of the most unusual builds have dominated a lot of leaderboards in the entirety of Forza’s history, coupled with a strong driver at the controls. In FM5 and FM6 respectively, high power builds in C class for instance, absolutely dominated on high speed tracks such as le mans, Monza, and so on. Those versions are not cross platform with the PC.
As an example, I loaded up FM6 on my Xbox and grabbed footage for the no1 time on le mans in C-class - https://youtu.be/nQc5uUU84JQ
The video features a Mazda RX3 running around 794BHP and hitting around 220MPH on the straights.
Its much better to investigate, rather than just assume its a case of cheating. And in the case of this thread, there is a distinct lack information.
I know the rules that’s why I haven’t named anyone but the guys I’m talking about are clearly cheating they have times that are impossible. I’m talking 5 to 10 seconds faster the the best times posted by guys that are widely known as the best and it’s hard to post proof without outing the cheaters.
other posters apparently ran across other circumstances indicating this has happened prior to them participating in this particular Bounty. I gave the player that posted the time the benefit of doubt by calling it a glitch, but it was obviously some sort of speed hack as another poster mentioned.
That was the second time that I spotted an impossible score / lap time. The first time was during the drifting Bounty, where 2 players had high scores that consisted of 2 laps, instead of the proper single lap.
Fortunately Turn 10 removed the hacked time from the November-Bounty, rather quickly too as I remember. I can’t recall if the Drift scores using 2 Laps for a single was removed or not.
Most likely other Modded Rival times on the leaderboards exist as well if one took the time to sniff them out. I have no idea what platform the player was using, but simple logic would point to PC.
I personally haven’t ran across anything unusual during say an Online race or a League race like the OP poster mentioned, but that can be a lot harder to spot as others mentioned all the tuning and build choices. If it’s a Spec Race or Rental car only with no tuning allowed, should be able to spot it almost instantly. Safe to say that if players can do this in an event where it’s Rental Car only, they most likely can do it in online races.
I haven’t seen any abnormality in online races, but have come across one in rivals. It was about 4 seconds faster than the second place car at Daytona Tri-Oval. Watching the replay, the car would just gain an 80mph boost out of nowhere. It doesn’t seem to be there anymore, so Turn 10 must be keeping an eye on these.
As far as the two+ lap drifting goes, I think that was a server issue which was mentioned in the last patch.

Valid points, however I do have the video and this was a Homologated League race in Rivals. The car was the Alfa Romeo Quad. Being that it is Homologated, the variations of tunes are not as many as an open Rivals event.
I average 40 to 50 tunes sold per day and am not foreign to how builds work.
The cross platform is news to me, I must have been living under a rock. If that is the case, that is 99% the issue. PC games are great, but with a game like this, it opens up way too many exploits. You can tell in half a lap if a driver is someone like Box or Davey Skills compared to some hack with a car racing well above its class.
Regarding investigating, I saved the replay and build and tuned that exact car Homologated every which way for an hour. This was on Homestead with the Alfa Quad in the current Sim Rivals League for Sports Touring. It is easy to do with the replay in Homologated because automatically you know the HP limit, that it must be Sport tires, and you can see if they do or do not have Aero.
Then as with my last message to FFR Madman, you need to take the proof and email it to T10. There is nothing anyone on the forums can do about it. You could PM one of the T10 support team, such as Jonk (or someone else). They might be able to pass it on. But opening a public thread, it wont really go anywhere. Except for open discussion with normal forum users like myself.
Edit: Would just like to point out, FFR Madman and yourself are talking about 2 different aspects of the game. You are talking specifically about a homologated event, so in your case; if the HP is higher than it should be. Then there is obviously a glitch somewhere. That doesn’t necessarily mean its something that is coming from the PC gaming side of things. Xbox still use a closed system on windows 10, its probably why they enforce the need for windows 10 for xbox gaming. Its strictly controlled, and bound by the same terms and conditions and code of conduct as the Xbox one (and previous xbox consoles). T10 are usually fairly quick to enforce things if they detect a change in game files, and they do know if someone has messed with things. Just have to look at how many complaints about bans appeared on Forza Motorsport 4 to see that. People say FM4 is the best forza, it was the most exploited version; the end user needed to do a full risk assessment prior to downloading a tune, buying a car from the auction house, accepting gifts from other users, or using cars shared in the club. Because almost every aspect of that game got hacked to pieces.
In FFR Madmans case however, they are talking about open A-class racing. Which means the HP (and other factors), are only limited by the imagination and skill of the player. So long as the car fits in A-class. Its not a wholly comparable complaint. I would say that yours has more merit, and you really need to contact T10 via Email asap with your proof.
I understand and you’re right. Seeing this thread and having literally just witnessed some of this, I just wanted to share another experience where it happened in Homologated.
Where do you send the info etc exactly and do I need to upload it to YouTube or what?
If you saved the replay in FM7, you can select the saved replay and share it, then T10 will be able to view it. Tell them your gamertag, and tell them you shared the replay in FM7.
Much better IMO than youtube or any video-sharing service, since with the in-game replay, T10 will have access to all the telemetry info they may need.
You need it somewhere for T10 to be able to view it once you email them, such as youtube. Or even just on the Xbox one itself. If you have it shared on the console, you can use xboxdvr.com to get a web player link for your video. Just make sure you dont post it publicly on the forums, as T10 have an anti naming and shaming policy.
Or, maybe Turn 10 should just take a passing glance at their own data.
Go take a look at the ‘Intro To Spec’ Rivals Event. The number 1 time is clearly, unambiguously, without a shadow of a doubt (etc) cheating. Watch the replay. The car leaps from ~80mph to ~160mph, instantly, and later hits ~220mph. This is in a stock M-B 190E. It’s enough to make a cat laugh. This isn’t Alien Level player skill, it’s not some God Tier tune built using Nigel Mansell’s moustache. That guy is just cheating. He’s not even hiding it, it’s in plain sight, and the same player has done the same thing on a number of Rivals Events. Before anyone suggests that paying customers need to record, log, publish and then notify Turn 10 of problems with their product, someone needs to explain to me why Turn 10 don’t seem to be willing to monitor things themselves.
This laissez faire attitude Turn 10 has taken with the Motorsport series for the last few years is starting to wear exceptionally thin.
People talking about proof*: the leaderboards. I was doing career races at S750 H levels and sometimes I would see an A600 in the top 10 or 20 of the leaderboards. I also saw at least one similar example when in an R class car, and C class cars near the top of A class leaderboards. I’ll write them down as I continue my career.
*It’s possible this is a s/w glitch in the game but it’s worth a look.
How do the lap times of the lower class cars compare to the fully PI cars? The leaderboards are still pretty empty after the wipe, so it’s not really hard to believe that a lower class car with a clean fast lap time will show up near the top. Not saying I don’t believe you as I’ve seen hacked times as well, but some people do like throwing weird PI cars into the top as some sort of challenge.
I meant to refer to the homologated leaderboards. In rivals, it may be possible for a good S class car/driver to be faster than many R class cars/drivers which you would correctly see. I’m pretty sure when you do a homologated race in free play that this separate leaderboard is just meant to show the one specific ‘partial PI’ cars lap times.
Wasn’t even looking for it, when I decided to revisit Career where I left off way back in November 2017. Seeker Series I believe it’s called, Modern Hot Hatch 3rd race Sebring Short Night. I wanted to see if my skills improved since then. At the time I first tried this race versus Unbeatable Drivatars, I had no chance because I was still using automatic. Since then during the lifespan of FM7 I shed all assists, I never use driving line but sometimes switch between Sim and Normal steering. Well to make a long story short I wanted to see if I could match the “Cheating” Drivatars on Unbeatable.
They get a decent advantage at this track or any with long straights on Unbeatable. I took the very same untuned basically stock settings VW Golf back to the track and could finally match their pace with ease. Only ran a few laps figuring I’d at least like to tune the car and revisit later maybe on the weekend and run on extra long or long length.
Exited / quit race and just for laughs wanted to see where my time landed on the leaderboards with no tuning or effort really put forth in the laps. Placed just outside the top 100 of roughly 315,000.
Glanced up at the #1 time, and what u know another Modded rival time starring right at me. Three Hundred and Fifteen Thousand times posted and #1 is well over 8 seconds faster than #2. And again with the same stupid red flag of the player using automatic. I don’t know, maybe using some assist is part of the scam, because the first one I seen had assists being used as well.
I said it before and I’ll say it again, these Modded / Glitched times whichever term you want to use, are most likely scattered everywhere on the leaderboards. And honestly it doesn’t even matter if these times are in fact a case of cheaters Modding the game or a server glitch. They are still implausible, and should be struck from the leaderboards. I personally don’t really care whether or not Turn 10 takes action against these players, but for the integrity of the leaderboards. I am never going to waste my own personal time policing a game which should or does have anti-cheating mechanisms in place. Yes, I took the time to post this, only because it seems some are in denial, with their heads buried beneath the sand.
BTW this Sebring Short Night Modern Hot Hatch Homologated time was still on leaderboard as of typing this. If you want a good laugh read the Bio of the players Gamercard.
People should view the replays from S class Alps tracks. Same player has all #1 there. Also wall glitches… plain to see on all his replays. He has many #1 times like this from E class, all the way to S. Also has featured rival event too…
Someone should remove times like this as it destroys the entire point of the leaderboards
