Wow! Just for participating. I think we’ll see some higher involvment on this one.

Dears,

I have played 4 laps and came out with 2:15.391, and stig’s 2:08:754.
Other people are getting same numbers and someone already beat Stig’s number.
Just to develop my skills can we see Stig’s lap since there is 7 plus sec difference.
Sometimes i feel like some leaderboards are bugged since they cannot have this difference in seconds … and i kinda feel i am a good driver.
How can same car on same track without any assists can save 7 plus seconds while i feel i gave my max or maybe i can do with less 1 second maximum.

I really need to learn, to advance.

Note: i race using controller, without assists except manual with clutch.

You can watch the replay from the leaderboard.

Scroll to the time, press A and watch replay. You can then use controls to change to game cameras and press x to use your preferred in game camera.

Cockpit view may show you.info like gears used etc

Stig’s cousin is going down

Mystery has always surrounded the identity of the Stig, so who is the Stig’s digital cousin? I reckon he’s the ultimate drivatar, the culmination of the best drivatar data available, which would be a possible explanation for the rather cryptic comment from Helios that he’s a competetive fellow in response to someone asking if we would see his times improve over the course of the event.

Also, watching cockpit view of his replay, he never turns his steering wheel! Don’t know if this is just a bug in the replay though.

EDIT: Looks like Snowowl was right

Is this car bottoming out for everyone in the esses?
Edit: replays do not show the sparks. Its possible that it can only be seen live with chase car view.

Yeah it seems to bottom out at the esses a bit as you said.
I just got fastest time but i wont stay there for long, to many good races out there that can beat me lol.

That looks like fun! To badi might not participate, for I don’t think I’ll be able to get the Top Gear Car Pack. Maybe I’ll just use another Holden V8 Supercar to try and beat the time and then pay it here.
Anyway, I’m just wondering, what does the prize pack for the first place winner contain? If I can officially compete, I’d like to see the goods that I can win!

Read the first post in this thread for the prize.

Im not saying the grand prize in general(But thanks anyways), I’m talking specifically about the Top Gear prize pack that comes with the credits and the three episodes. On the post it just says “A Top Gear Prize Pack” in one of the bullets. I want to see exactly what’s in this pack, and whether or not I can acquire this merchandise through other means(e.g. The Top Gear online store). Do you have any specific info on that?

I have searched for more specific info and all I can find is the Top Gear Pack is worth approx $20 retail.

Other than that I can’t find specifics.

250,000 Cr for participating?! I’m down for this event even though I won’t get near the top 10, but it will be great for practicing on Bathurst; it worked for SPA during the Mechberg BH event!

Say what you will about the T10, but they are not stupid, a very clever way to sell Car-Packs, but they will not fool me this time :frowning:

But it’s a good car pack though isn’t it not? Renault Turbo, Nissan R390, Chaparral and Xbox One V8 Supercar! I do wish the car pack want required for the competition, because I can’t get it now, but I surely will later!

Well im looking forward to this. The holden isnt a bad car to drive so this should be pretty competitive. Lets see what the stigs got

The Stig’s Digital Cousin has already shaved a a bit off his/her original time!

Time to beat now stands at 2.08.602

Just wondering, does the Xbox One car have equal starts with the other Holdens? Because even without incentive or reward, I’m going to try to beat the time!

(Of course, hopefully I can get the pack before the competition ends and then get my reward!)
