Just played at Silverstone circuit and the -5 seconds laptime is still there at no 1 slot. I doubt anyone else will ever be no 1 on that circuit for as long as they don’t bother to fix the game!
Or we can be reasonable and accept #2 as the real #1. Turn 10 will investigate and take the necessary action when they see fit. Until then, ignore the erroneous times. Problem solving for the win.
I have checked alot of the gamertags of people who are rated in the top ten on different tracks and they haven’t played in weeks and only played 1 percent of the game, I don’t believe there times, I think there untrue.
99.9 percent of the times you see on leaderboards are legit. The rivals events are all glitched up with wrong cars. It is easy to see what times are legit and what times are glitched.
You can do it but you have to ignore the red signs in the turns that say “If this sign is blue you’re approaching too fast”.
Driving that way also burns through a set of tires like you wouldn’t believe.
Yeah, no. The only cheaters are those that exploit this glitch to make money. I do it, I’m cheating. But I got the balls to admit it. The person with this time (it’s actually minus 5 seconds) most certainly experienced some kind of weird glitch that screwed up his time. If this was something repeatable those times would by now be all over the leaderboards.
I’ve seen really low lap times before, but that is absolutely absurd. I hope once they clear up the bugs in the game and add new features the community is asking for, they’ll clear the leaderboards of these times. That’s absolutely ridiculous.
I did check the gamertag and the profile belonging to the -5 second fastest laptime… His account got about 90 gamerscore (when i checked), Kinda obvious he’s doing something (or she). As it’s on a clean profile with no other games.
But anyway, Kinda like to run some 20 min stints on silverstone, trying to beat my own best time without a ghost. And it yields some needed credits. Tho, it feels a little cheap, but i know its not cheating, but indeed, making use of an opportunity that everybody has. I dont see it as an unfair advantage. I would like to see such times removed from the LB’s aswell…
It happened on other tracks as well. The monthly community rival on the Bernese Alps had the same minus 5 second time on Sunday. It was fixed on Monday. Given the literally hundreds of rival combinations available it is likely this error is on other leader boards as well.
