I entered a R class lobby and saw two people driving a car called 1977 Renault RS01 (looks like a formula car) and getting 2 seconds faster lap time than those 911 GT1 and Mclaren F1 GT meta car spammers… I did recall ever seeing that car so I searched in store but could not find it. This car is not in my store…
I played quite many R class races in the past months and the only meta cars that I can remember spammed by people were 911 GT1, Mclaren F1 GT, and M8B. Is this 1977 Renault RS01 a new hidden meta car that is not available to everyone…?

That was a Tour reward in one of the previous updates. Looks like they purpousefully made it bad so that less people would get this car…

U can’t get this car anymore, but pretty much all F1 cars are broken in this game (due to light weight and 100% fuel when pi is calculated)

I see. When was this car rewarded? I played many R class races in between Feb and April but I do not recall seeing this thing…
This car looks really overpowered. In the R class lobby I mentioned, one guy in this car was literally 2 seconds faster per lap than those 911 GT1 and Mclaren F1 GT spammers…
Idk, it was quite long ago, also F1 cars are lighter than rivals meta = better tyre wear and in rivals u got always 100% fuel, what makes F1 cars go under radar in rivals due to high fuel weight slowing then down.
Any of these cars should work in R class
- 1976 Lotus #5 Team Lotus 77
- 1976 Ferrari #1 SScuderia Ferrari 312 T2
- 1976 McLaren #11 Team McLaren M23
- 1974 BRM #14 Team Motul P201
- 1977 Renault #15 Equipe Renault Elf R.S. 01
Use balast to drop pi and make them 50/50 
The Renault is the only one which gets to top of R class. The others are still good but I doubt that they are quite as strong maxing out at 885 or less (haven’t tried them online),

Sounds pretty broken… I guess the only disadvantage of those formula cars is that their weights are too light so they get impacted more dramatically in collisions. Maybe I am cringe but I kinda wish there are dirty rammers who could take those formula car spammers out

Anyway u can also drop pi on some LMP cars from o class to R using ballast

Yeah, I think in the future I probably only drive A and S classes. Of course there are also meta cars in A and S, but overall the car diversity is much better. R class is no longer fun: I did like 3-4 races after this week and in every lobby, half of drivers were in 911 GT1, Mclaren F1 GT, and M8B… Now this 1977 Renault thing appears…
Just hire some noobs to take em out in some hypercar ev with max ballast haha. They would probably shoot underneath the reno and blast it into the stratosphere
B and A class races are probably overall most “balanced”, and u can drive almost anything there.
In S class there are these old race cars that’s are op, and R class meta is here too (including renault F1)
And in E-C u have… Soft abusing Miata/s800/550
The renault is so op. And i loved that car when we got it. I mustve done the reward showcase 15 times dialing in its tuning setup for watkins glen. I use this car if i wanna kick my friends butt in r class private multiplayer lol

You can make it heavier and stick it in S Class. It’s extremely good in that also.
Won many races with it.
I don’t bother with anything above S class either.
Are they ever going to address these FOMO cars the list is getting kind of long of locked cars
My assumption is around year one they will begin re-adding the series in which these fomo were unlocked as permanent series.
This will:
a) cover them for people complaining about fomo, and
b) cover them for people complaining about there not being enough permanent series, while
c) involnving almost zero effort from the programmers (which seems to be an ongoing trend)
