Can't use old F1 cars in R class

Just noticed I can’t use the old R class F1 cars in R class racing online. What’s up with that? The other race cars can be used…

They now have their own category - 1970 GP on the first set of online categories

Yea iv seen it, we should still be able to use em in normal R class tho. We can use the GT race cars there and they have their own category as well.

no you shouldn’t. those go carts are too hard to see and cause wrecks. people useing those cars always want that dubai track with alot of right angles so they have the advantage. and they are too short to be seen when they sneek up inside you on a corner. you think gt cars have an advantage over all in r class? buy the 08 dodge viper and throw a good tune on it. the gt viper cant touch it. when you get to lemans the henesy and saleen will be untouchable. i dont drive gt cars…but i can see them and avoid them. you are worried about fairness? what could be more fair than racing other cars just like yours? the go carters are as bad as the wall riders. race the other cars just like yours…or learn to drive a real car. or upgrade it to p class where it really belongs. or start a private lobby and set car class to any and maybe someone with a good d class mini will come in the room. then again someone with an x class wanting the same advantage you want is gonna come in. or try the ariel atom or xbow, atleast they are tall enough i can see them.

I never said GT cars have any advantage… Never said anything bout being unfair or fair… I can drive “real cars” just fine thank u very much. Where’s all this crap about me wanting an advantage coming from? U sure are getting hostile and making a whole lot of assumptions… All I did was notice we can’t use the old F1 cars in R class and ask what was up with it. U need to take your attitude somewhere else my friend.

Edit: btw a private lobby is just that “private” meaning other ppl can’t just join they have to be invited or be in your party. Unless we can now search for custom games and I’m not aware of it.

Ot was mentioned in a recent WIR. I think the lobbies just are not competitive with F1 cars racing other cars.

It is because thiose 2 cars completely killed the R class lobby…they are way better than any other R class car, whole seconds faster than any GT car

Ahh I see, I kinda figured they would have similar abilities being in the same class, guess not.

Ya, I had noticed nobody was running them the last few days or so and was really surprised since they are way faster lol. Great move by Turn 10 imo, the R class hoppers are significantly more competitive now.
