Just been looking through the AH @ “1965 Ford Transit Van” an noticed some folk are able to set a buy out price of £1,000,000 despite having under 12,000 paint/tune/like downloads combined.
I thought you could only set high prices once you’d reached “legendary Painter/Tuner” status after reaching 50,000 downloads (combined)?
Or is the amount you can sell for tiered?
If so at what amount of downloads do you need to reach the next tier.
First of all, you have no way of seeing how many combined downloads, likes and uses that anyone else has. You can only calculate that for your own numbers.
Secondly, if you see 12,000 downloads for someone else, it’s entirely possible that the remaining 38,000 required for legendary status are made up of likes and uses. Every shared tune or paint should have significantly more uses than downloads. So if this creator has 12,000 downloads, it’s very likely that they have enough uses … particularly if they’ve shared tunes or paints for popular cars.
That is only the downloads. It does not show likes or uses. Only the creator can see likes and uses. And they will need to calculate them themselves … because you can only see those for each individual tune or paint. There is nowhere in the game where that total number is shown.
Agree 100%. We’ve been asking the devs to show this number for years across multiple games. Especially since a key component of the games is based on the combined totals.
In order to see the uses and likes for each shared paint, you have to go into the My Designs section and pull up each paint one at a time. The detail screen there shows the uses and likes for each paint.
There is no way to see what your painter level (pro, elite, legendary, etc.) is without calculating it. You’ll have to pull up every individual shared paint and add up all the downloads, likes and uses of all of them. I know quite a few painters that keep track of their downloads, likes and uses outside the game in spreadsheets.
IMO, it’s ridiculous to build a facet of the game around a calculated number like this and then not show each player what their ‘number’ is.
Go to my designs tab, choose to design that you want to check uses, press a and it shows downloads/likes/uses.
And game dont show level nowhere like FH3 did, so only way to know own level is keep up all daily payouts or check auction a what price can auction car.
Oh, i get that wrong then as i didint have any designs shared on FH3 i just know that tuner level was showed.
Another badly design feature abaout creative hub is that only show 255 most popular tunes/designs, so if you want to check what is least popular tune/design you need to go thruw those manualy.
you can ask 500k extra when you reach elite status that takes only 10k compined downloads, uses and likes, so there is tier’s in asking prices even before legendary status.
I havent see PG saying that anywhere with FH4 either, there is some topic where retro post limits what it takes to reach next tier.
So in 1m credit transit i bet there is just lots of parts increasing car value as max tune parts cost abaout 150k, so few different kinda kinda tune setup parts can increase that mutch car value that can ask 1m with elite status.
Note: You can also see an example here of another topic discussed above. Although this paint only has 8,384 downloads … it counts as 28,604 combined downloads, likes and uses of the 50,000 needed for Legendary painter status.
Ahh ok gotcha looks like i’m able to list some cars for 20 mil but they have to have a livery I made on them in order to do so, basic cars with stock paint might go up to a couple 100k max. Does that sound right?
Doh went to find uses, and accidentally deleted my best shared car. It downloaded the car first, and I didn’t want it downloaded, then I deleted it, and it was no longer shared. Who comes up with these menu ideas?
It should have said “Do you want to download this design?”
