The matte paint has been too shiny and people have complained about it since it was implemented. Unfortunately, the paint/vinyl tools haven’t changed much. In 5 you could finagle it so you could tint the Zinc, which made a ridiculously flat, deep black. They fixed that loophole, but you can still paint a car Zinc and cover it completely with black vinyl/paint… however, the seams stand out.
