METALLIC PAINT AND CARBON FIBER NOT WORKING!

Hey guys, I’m new to this site and needed somewhere to go for an outside opinion. I’ve been designing liveries and tuning since FM3. However with FM7 I’ve encountered a few problems and I wanted to see if everyone else has as well. #1. Metallic paint has absolutely no metal flake in it what so ever thus causing the paint to gloss in sunlight. #2 carbon fiber turns grey on the track until you go into photo mode, but as soon as you back out it turns bright grey again. The carbon fiber also cant be tinted or color changed as well. It has no shine under a gloss setting. Any input would be greatly appreciated as many of my designs incorporate carbon fiber or metallic paint.

When I was painting my wheels today on a car I noticed the Chrome and Gold look matte finish and have no reflection to them. Even the Steel and Aluminum finishes look off a bit compared to FH3 and FM6. I’m sure these issues are all related when using paint.

Yeah I’ve noticed. I wonder if they’ll patch it.

This hasnt been sorted yet right? Cause i have not been able to tint the carbon and its got a pretty strong Battleship Grey kinda tone to it no matter what…far from the darker grey/black carbon really exhibits

I wish they would patch it already, I noticed early signs of this in horizon 3. Also noticed the fact that some cars with stock big brake kits no longer show fully detailed like they used to. They show up flat looking and generic. I dont know what forza did as far as the paint booth but it looks like every car has a maaco paint job now…barely any reflection and just flat.
