Hey guys, I’m new to this site and needed somewhere to go for an outside opinion. I’ve been designing liveries and tuning since FM3. However with FM7 I’ve encountered a few problems and I wanted to see if everyone else has as well. #1. Metallic paint has absolutely no metal flake in it what so ever thus causing the paint to gloss in sunlight. #2 carbon fiber turns grey on the track until you go into photo mode, but as soon as you back out it turns bright grey again. The carbon fiber also cant be tinted or color changed as well. It has no shine under a gloss setting. Any input would be greatly appreciated as many of my designs incorporate carbon fiber or metallic paint.

Its a bit weird with lighting again, but you have 2 options.
Either make some carbon fiber yourself (tutorial https://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst46408.aspx ) or use the dual flake paint and mix yourself.

Been that way since horizon 3 and they won’t fix it
No such thing as “dual flake” it’s just a basic two-tone! No metal flake! This is [Mod edit - WSD- Profanity and alluding to profanity is against the ToS]
FH3’s metal flake and carbon fiber works perfectly unless you’re in an online lobby!
