Yeah and that controller was much nicer looking. I mean I like that they’ve gone OTT, but they totally lost me on the back of it. If the grips had to be black, make it all black; the bits and pieces approach is just nasty.
As for game items locked behind purchase, I actually don’t mind that as a concept. Certainly better than the multiple pre-order cars in FH4, and the controller will presumably be available over a much longer period!
Pretty scummy to lock an exclusive FE car behind a controller that costs more than the game itself. I really hope they make it more available at some point.
And like all Forza Editions, its probably going to be counted as an individual car, meaning that unless Playground Games provide this car without us having to buy that ugly as sin controller, people won’t be able to complete their collections. Also, this is completely flying in the face of their claims that there would be no preorder incentives, and yet they still stuck it onto the preorder of that abomination of a controller.
Sounds like they are getting desperate for money. Here’s, a tip, listen to your player base, fix bugs before everyone quits playing. It’s not a controller that is stopping me from pre ordering the game. What’s gonna stop me from buying the game is past history.

The Dauntless visor for Halo 5 was an exclusive for the Master Chief controller yet every single player has it. It’s an exclusive code, not an exclusive car. The density.
Also if you guys don’t like the controller then just don’t get it. We get it, y’all like your straight black ones, buy another.
It was availble to pre-order yesterday 70 minutes after the stream. I pre-ordered from Microsoft directly since I needed a spare controller and it reminds me of Holi - the festival of colours.
Yeah I get the Mexican theme, but it doesn’t really scream Forza to me. I’ll pass on it. Too bad as I need another controller, my FM6 Edition XBox One is about to be permanently retired for a Series X, and I wore one of those controllers out completely (FYI the rubber backing can deteriorate with enough use… or kids who pick at it lol). I was hoping they would release a Forza Edition console of the SeX as the standard one is pretty boring to look at.
