Like the title suggests, I already received my code for the Trolli Peel P50 - however it is only an Xbox code with no option to redeem it for Steam? How will this work, can only Xbox players redeem this or is there a way to get a code for Steam instead. The DLC has been added to Steam, so it seems like it should be possible but at the moment it seems like this promotion is not available to Steam players after I already spent money on candy… https://steamdb.info/app/4444150/
How did you get the code for Peel P50? I sent them a receipt, and in return I only received an email saying that: “Your receipt has been uploaded and is pending approval. Your code of choice will be sent to the email you registered with after submission closes on 9/30. While supplies last”.
I didn’t have a choice between the Peel P50 or Toyota, and I still haven’t received my code for either car. Should I buy more Trolli products and send them a second receipt to ensure that I receive both cars? To be honest, I think many people don’t understand how this promotion works at all, and it’s annoying. Is it really impossible to make everything easier and more accessible? The game hasn’t been released yet, and we’re already facing some problems, at least this promo seems like a headache.

As far as I understand the only car is the P50, the Toyota is not part of the promotion despite being featured in the banners etc. See below the timeline of my receipt submission, and a preview of the email I got with the code, there is only an Xbox code, and it doesn’t work on Steam.
All my emails said I wouldn’t receive the code until October as well.

Thank you so much for such a detailed answer. I am sincerely glad that you have received your code. I sent them my receipt on March 5. Based on your dates, it is possible that I will receive my code around March 18 
And it’s very strange that they send the code for Peel P50, and not for Toyota 
It seemed to me that we would get the Toyota Trolli Edition, and the Peel P50 Trolli Edition would be presented as a bonus, which would be a nice addition to the Toyota

Wait wait wait the Trolli car we get is the Peel and not the Toyota?? I’m gonna be ticked if this is the case! I’m only in this for the Toyota, the vehicle which had been all over their promo material until the Peel seemed to have popped up out of nowhere later on.
I was going to send in two more receipts so I’d have extra codes to hand out to friends but if all we get is the Peel then I’m going to stop right here and save my money.
This entire promotion has been significantly more confusing than it has any right to be.

In fact, this is still not accurate. I think that whoever is responsible for this promo should make a few clarifications: which car exactly we will get Peel or Toyota? Is there really only one Trolli Edition car? If there are still two cars: Peel Trolli Edition & Toyota Trolli Edition, should we provide two receipts in order to receive both cars? So far, it all looks irresponsible on the part of the initiators of this promo.
A few posts above, Heraizen confirmed that the 1962 Peel P50 Trolli edition does exist, but what about Toyota? We need official answers.

Don’t hold your breath on when they’ll get back to you. I sent mine in on the 2nd, and I still haven’t heard back from them on the 14th. Because if the timeframe’s matched, I should’ve gotten mine today.

So it is for a Peel and not the Toyota. ‘Trolli’ must be short for ‘trolling.’
Glad to finally have some concrete info, at least. I won’t be buying any more of these. Still wondering if I’ll ever get a code for the one I’ve already sent in.

I noticed you used the word ‘exchange’ but I assume even if used the Xbox code I can still request a Steam code instead?
I used the Xbox code because I didn’t want to lose it, but that was when Steam codes were not even mentioned and before this new FAQ which came out 3 weeks after the promotion already started.
I’ve just sent them an email so waiting for my Steam code now!

I have already received a similar message almost as soon as I sent my receipt, but that message did not mention that the code would arrive in 7-10 days, it said: “Your receipt has been uploaded and is pending approval. Your code of choice will be sent to the email you registered with after submission closes on 9/30. While supplies last”.

Thank you for the in depth response! I sure wish it offered anything more conclusive though, for your own sake. Seems like whatever setup they have running isn’t doing a great job of communicating with itself.
The ‘while supplies last’ always gets me, like these are digital goods. There wasn’t a set number of them manufactured and put on a shelf somewhere. Everyone who follows the guidelines should still get one. Our money has been spent specifically for a Trolli car, even if the offer was incredibly misleading of which car we would receive.
This whole promotion stinks. The game’s still two months from releasing and I’m already frustrated as heck.
