I have just bought a brand new xbox one controller.
Every single race I am in the controller will disconnect roughly every minute, causing me to crash etc. I then get the “Controller disconnected” message and the controller will then reconnect.
This happens over both wired and wireless (Bluetooth) connections.
The controller is up to date according to the Xbox Accessories App.
I also have an xbox 360 controller and this has not happened ever.
Very disappointed.
What windows are you using on Windows 10 my Xbox One controller doesn’t have an issues.
Yup W10. On latest updates. Forza is fully updated.
Built in Intel bluetooth and only have USB 3.0 ports. Strange that it happens on both wireless and wired connections.
Almost seems as if the controller is crashing if there is too much feedback it has to send / receive.
Go in to device manager and set the controller to be your “default game device”. This should stop it disconnecting from time outs.
No this doesn’t help. I just tried another 6 games on my pc and its only Foza that crashes.
