This was something I observed with the demo the day before the release, but is also present in the full game.
When using a G920 adjusting the pedal deadzone doesn’t have any affect. I normally adjust the clutch outside zone so full clutch disengagement happens before the pedal has travelled all the way, but it doesn’t seem to be working resulting in a lot crunching noises.
I’ve also tested the brake deadzone settings and they seem to be the same.
Have you tried taking out the rubber block In the brake pedal? It sits inside the spring and completely limits braking I took mine out yesterday and everything feels fine now
As for the clutch, I think it’s an audio glitch because no matter how smooth I change I still get it, even when shift from 1st to neutral
Same issue with thrusmaster setup. I do the same with the deadzone on my clutch and now I grind every gear unless I make sure to 100% press the clutch. Super annoying and it was present in the demo.
Playing on xbox one and Same here no pedal deadzones take affect in advanced settings, game is unplayable with my g920 as I can’t reach more then 95% on clutch and accelerator and 70 on the brake(I have no desire to remove rubber stopper from brake pedal that’s what the deadzones are for) hopefully this is fixed in a day 1 patch if not before
Same problem with me.
To brake I have to almost brake the pedal…
The same thing happened in the Demo, I was hooping this was fixed on the full game, but apparently not…
I’ve even noticed when you are stationary with your gearbox in neutral if you push the clutch in and out you still get grinding noise…It’s not even in gear!
