G920 race wheel

I play with this wheel and its ok but I find I cant play the game with the difficulty up from the basic setting. The problem is the braking It is known that the G920 has a very hard brake pedal.
I have adjusted the settings to the max in advanced settings to make the brake more responsive but I come into the first corner and the car wont slow much and I run off the track.
Is there any more i can do to brake better.
Trying to play the game with more of my own control

What do you mean by “adjusting settings to the max”? If you want G920 brake pedal to be more responsive, you should lower the value of decelaration axis outside deadzone. I have 80% and ABS OFF and the break pedal feels quite responsive and it doesn’t lock brakes unless I push the pedal very hard against it’s rubber padding.

I have lowered the value all the way as you say and that is what I am saying adjusted settings to the max but I have to stand on the brake pedal to get any response and i just crash into the corner going to fast.

so I have to play on the easiest difficulty level. there is no calibration for the brake pedal

I set the game to use the Clutch as the Brake.

Works fine.

Though if you’re using the Clutch and Manual I guess you can’t do that :frowning:

There is a video on YouTube take the pedals apart and remove the rubber block from the brake pedal I have done mine make it so much better and responsive.

If lowering the Decel outside deadzone to 80 doesn’t help, lower it some more to eg: 50. Keep lowering the value until you get to a range that works for you.

I have the same set up and i use my outside deadzone on the brake at 40%, feels much better. Not such a sore leg/foot after a long time playing.

I will also check this video D4AFX posted though, sounds quite a good fix
