Tires wear on classes C,D,E on multiplayer lobbies is glitched: you can complete a full race with just soft race tires, this way it’s useless to use medium and hard compounds.
I wouldn’t say its glitched or wrong, tire wear works just the same in lower classes as in higher classes. I would expect a lightweight low power car to last for longer on the same compound than a heavier high power car.
The correct solution would be to make the races longer.
Or to make the tire wear directly proportional to classes
It’s weird that After 9 laps on a track soft compound Is still good
9 laps of maple short is not all that long. I would expect a soft tire to last 16 km(3/4 of Nordschlife). Now If the races were 9 laps of the G.P layouts, It would all work as expected.
Why do the lower classes need to be restricted to short tracks only, we have been running the same 6 tracks per class every rotation since launch. A bit of variety in the track rotations is sorly needed.
My thread was about online lobbies, and since are setted to short I doubt you’ll ever find 4 laps on that track.
Yes, Im talking about online as well. Im not expecting an E class lobby with 4 laps of the ring. (As much as i would love that) I was just trying to point out the short distance.
Why complicate things with different tire wear for all classes, The grip in this game is inconsistent enough as it is. Just make the races longer.
my solution is not complicate, soft tires last on slow classes as fast classes do
Tho this is not bug, it needs adjustments, using soft tyres in low classes totally brakes balance, and force u to use race tyres, over street/sport tyre that are more balanced in low classes. I made suggestion about this, feel free to vote it.
