Their price has gone up (to 70k) and the rewards have gotten worse, just like the whole game keeps getting worse and worse and T10 keeps taking away stuff everyone loves and adding stuff no one likes/cares for
great way to show you don’t care about the community but about the weight of your pockets
I only ever win crap prizes anyway so I dont bother buying extra ones. OOOH LOOK I WON 2000cr AGAIN WA-HEY!!! Hey Mods them there 4 stars allude to me using a word waaaay worse than the, lets be honest, quite inoffensive one I did use.
The last time I used several stars in that manner on this forum they put that Edited by mod due to profanity message on my post when I had never typed in such thing in the first place. Lol.
but what’s the point of the “buy a wheelspin” when you don’t even get the chance to be ahead in winnings cause 9 out of 10 times you spend 70k to win way, way, way less
Because it’s a lottery. If you had a 9 out of 10 chance of winning a lottery, that ticket would be very highly priced or the jackpot would be barely how much the ticket is worth.
Don’t get me wrong though OP. I’ve definitely been on the receiving end of terrible winnings too. Being over level 600 and playing for an hour or two to level up and receiving a grand total of 4,000 CR for the effort isn’t my idea of a reward either.
iT N1GHTMAR3’s idea seems plausible to me. Thin out the AH.
You know what would thin out the auction house, being able to sell the cars for half price back to the dealer. Dont know why they changed this starting with forza 5. Theres a lot of cars that just wont ever sell, so you either keep them or get rid of them and get nothing back.
Even with the VIP doubling the wheelspin rewards, the lowest you can get is four (or eight?) grand. I can make double that if I save the wheelspin and race a drivatar right after I exit the menu.
Along with the prompt that just happens to pop up right before I’m about to race that drivatar or enter a festival/event which traps me into using a wheelspin JUST TO WIN YET ANOTHER ACURA RSX.
I know? That’s the point I was trying to push across.
So basically just another anti-cheat mechanism? At 50k they were extremely risky to buy. Now, with them being at 70k they serve hardly any purpose for any casual player. The only ways one could make profit from this new price per wheelspin is to hit either 75k or 100k prize or get a car that can sell for more than 70k in the Auction Show. Going off of that scenario, they serve virtually no purpose. Every spin is flooded with cars worth WAY less than even 50k and the reward is not doubled with VIP. Thus, the only alternate use is for attempting to get current HE cars (merely a coincidence how the better ones are so rare in the first place).
I bought also few spins today and this is the result:
16 spins x 70000 = 1120000 CR
CR won 383000
cars won Audi RS3 Sportback, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SD-455
I was bummed to see the price increase, but like the new selection of standard cars that are showing up. I was about to complain about not seeing the HE cars everyone was talking about but then won a Hellcat HE.
FM6 is a straight simulator compared to Horizon. And that’s not a negative thing. When I’m done with bouncing around in the outback it’s nice to hop on FM6 and get some track time in.
I think this might have been done to avoid another situation where everybody gets wheelspins so often and of better odds that they get a bunch of cars that the majority of people don’t want, so they just keep offloading them to the auction house.
I actually kind of like this myself, as it makes the new HEs feel more valuable and rare, as opposed to the second wave of HEs we had for months that are all essentially worthless now.
There needs to be an auto spin where you can choose how much you want to spend and let it go and not have to sit there for an hour pushing a button. It should also let you sell the duplicates I keep getting. It thought it used to do that or is that only on the regular spins not the ones you buy?
