I didn’t realise anonymity was an option - although it shouldn’t change the results just offer some protection / privacy to voters.

If you believe there is a world in which this company can redeem itself - and that you would willingly hand over money to them, you are a YES.
It’s a binary poll - either they have crossed the threshold where you will forever withhold your money or not.
As with other posters - please understand that if you would buy a game from them (whether good or not) then you are a YES.
This is the language that this studio understands - they don’t want to talk to us directly so let’s give them some statistics to work with.

In truth it’s not a simple yes or no question. Would I blind pre-order another product without seeing reviews / community response as I did this? Not a chance. Would I, if it was a solid product with good content… We all would, wouldn’t we?

Yes, I understand there is another poll that can be asked - where we take into context future behavior from the studio - however for some of us no amount of good-will generation will convince us to give our money to this business again.
I want the company to be aware of the permanent damage to their reputation in as direct a way as possible. Future sales are about the single most important metric I could think of that might get their attention.
It’s fully a possibility that they turn the game around - it becomes 2025’s GOTY and everybody wins and everybody is happy. That still would not convince me to give them money ever again - my memory is not that short and I’m not that forgiving so for me - it’s a No on both fronts.

No - I would not - they could release Forza 9 tomorrow to 100% (genuine) 10/10 reviews and it would still not convince me to give this business any money.

But if it’s a product you knew you’d enjoy, would get good VFM for, wouldn’t you just be cutting your nose off to spite your face.l? Don’t get wrong I get the anger and the resentment but we make purchases … or don’t to enhance our lives (if you can afford it that is)

What would be a sufficient change in behaviour or culture for you be happy exchanging money for their products again?

Yes I do get what you’re saying m. Try this analogy though and I don’t mean to sound condescending here:
Your favourite band artist release an album that is absolute dross and you hate it. It puts you off said artist.
A few years later they release n absolute banger. Do you buy it / stream it? Knowing full well you’ll like it, or are you that fed up about their previous release a couple years back you out of principle refuse to.

I understand that analogy and I would find that situation difficult.
But with this situation - it’s not that they released a bad game - it’s that they released a bad game knowingly and covered it up. Then their efforts to fix the bad game and interact with their community shed light on how little they care about the quality of their product or the relationship with their customers.

There is going to be a ton of paid DLC as in Car Packs as they have said every track is going to be free, free in these sense you have already paid for the game or are paying through Gamepass.
Wanna know why I say there’s going to be a lot, cause Turn10 have said that this is it, there’s not going to be another in 2 years and so on. I find that quite bizarre in terms of making money cause every 2 odd years you could get players to drop another $120 which is far more than a few car packs.
Would I pay for more vehicles, only after the content matches what FM7 had, I’m not paying to buyback missing content.
Would I buy another Turn10 game, probably cause I love racing games.
I voted “no” on both options, but I think it needs some explanation.
I loved Forza 2 (XB360) so much, I bought FM3 day one, as well as ever FM and FH release since.
That said…
The in-game rewards, the economy, the GRIND to upgrade cars, the GRIND to earn $$$ to buy new cars (for those of us who are completists) just sort of takes the fun away in comparison to past releases. And add to that the folks who have been BANNED because they took advantage of built-in game features to level up cars and driver level. BANNED - because they used features BUILT INTO THE GAME. T10 will probably never get those customers back. At $50 to $60 bucks or more per game, plus DLC, is it worth is to alienate your players?
Right now there is NO WAY I will drop cash to pre-order new Forza Motorsport releases. I’ll wait a bit for reviews and see what the overall “mood” is on the game.
EA screwed up what was once a great Need For Speed franchise. I hope that T10 isn’t doing the same with Forza Motorsport. It’s just…sad.

A sloppy drive-through burger isn’t worth a gourmet steak price.

Peoples are saying that because they are now disapointed. But that’s actually what peoples should do for every games, for be sure the product respect their expectation.
Or buy it day one /pre order it, but assume what you got.
You can see the “passion” isn’t here on the same lvl as it was on old days. And you can see that lost of passion on music, movies etc …
It’s a new era, it’s how things work now, of course they’re some exceptions.
But at the end you are the consumer, they want your money. Does they deserve your money ? Wait for be able to answer this question instead of jump day one/pre order because of the hype of trailer, possible lies, or the “trust” on a “franchise”

I want to get any in game cars and any future DLC cars, that’s my target.
I will not spend my money on a new T10 game after FM’s disaster. The only way they can change this is by getting rid of every single asset and functionality that was carried over from any previous game, modified or not, into FM. Whether they rebuild FM or make FM9 which is legitimately built from the ground up, not just advertized as such, I might reconsider buying that game only then.
NO = PC, Controller, third person users.
YES = Console, Wheel, first person users.
