The cars strafe from side to side in races, not allowing you to drive straight, while the AI cars do perfectly, when you finish in last place the rewards you receive from wheel spins will usually be clothing or horns, not that winning a nice car would matter as it will be fast but you will lose race because you can’t handle the car.
I’ve played every forza game and usually win, so it’s not that I’m inexperienced, it’s just that the cars handle like rubbish.
I decided after forza 7 that I would only buy horizon titles, after a few days of playing horizon 4 I decided not to buy anything forza again, that’s sad as it was a great franchise.
I’ve had no trouble with the handling. Been driving straight or crooked mostly on command as the situation calls for. I’ve heard tell there’s an input delay issue in 4K mode if you drive in any view but bumper cam, but I have no way to personally verify. For me, purely from the perspective of the map and driving, this is the best Horizon yet.
Maybe that’s why i’m doing better in 4K mode. I had an acute stroke a month ago and my right side is uncooperative. It’s like pulling teeth, only even less enjoyable. Just typing this is difficult, never mind playing a game. So if it’s filtering more than usual that would explain why it’s kind-of working. I’m still hitting loads and the car feels like it’s driving at an angle but it’s better than some other games i’ve tried.
OP if it’s the worst forza ever how come it’s gotten the highest metacritic scores for a Forza title?
Don’t know how it got the highest scores as the online multiplayer is the worst it has ever been and this is coming from someone who has been with This franchise since motorsport one. I dunno I guess they’re catering to the younger generation now. Us og gamers don’t matter anymore. Thanks for forgetting the people who made your franchise something because the kids playing now most weren’t even born when the original forZa dropped
All Dora jokes aside, I actually agree that this is at least the worst iteration of Horizon of the 4, solely due to the abysmal multiplayer.
It’s so bad that it’s literally dead, everyone just does the forzathon live then goes back to their single player stuff or just mess around in convoys with their friends.
Thanks for confirming. I’ve felt that the world feels really empty. I actually checked to see if maybe somehow I didn’t get an update or something because there are so few players wanting to race. I’ve tried to set up a few and never actually started one because nobody joins. As for the Forzathon thing, I feel like it’s really 50/50. Earlier I was the only one doing it. Surely enough people bought the game to populate a server right?
There are several things about this game that I don’t care for myself but I’ve got far bigger worries in my life at the moment to get wound up over sparkly tops.
Yea like worrying about having stuff to do like a good end game like in previous forza where we can compete against rivals with the class and cars we want.
I guess you arent at the point where you have nothing interesting left to do anymore yet. We reach that point much faster in fh 4 than in previous game unfortunately.
Too fast to use such words. Players playing from yesterday did not even get used to this game, they did not get to the multiplayer games, and here is the problem
I got my copy of the game some eight or nine days before early release and have played it every day since. I’m heading towards my second prestige level and while I’ve finished most of the events, and discovered all the things there are to discover (having driven 531/531 roads seven days before early release), I can now settle down into painting and trying to keep up with the rotating/changing seasonal activities as they come up. If you find there’s nothing left interesting (to you at least) to do then perhaps there really wasn’t much interesting (again, for you) to do in the first place.
