Hello again,
Cars/tunes/suggestions for this weeks seasonal for those that find such useful. All tunes are my own, unless otherwise noted, all shared by myself (or others). ~ tune name / share code. If you use anything offered here, and you like it/it was useful to you, please don’t forget to leave a like.
This week, for time (for me), everything is a tune used and/or made previously.
Online:
Only doing the Trial this week.
**Trial: “Track In” | Dirt Racing | (B700) Modern Rally
**Car used: 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo ix MR (Autoshow 27,000 Cr)
**Tune: B700 Dirt / 114 376 252
Car/tune is a mid to front of pack runner, has too much grip, and less than idea acceleration/launch - otherwise it is a no problem point scoring for the team, rally car, for the event. I say mid, as it depends on what your team mates bring, based on what I saw, if your teammates bring tuned less grip power builds (and can drive) you will not get podium. Tune is AWD as stock, has rally/snow tires, mudflaps, rally lights, Forza rear aero, Varis front bumber - not a lot of P.I. to play with, body mods lower weight, cost next to no P.I (or 0.x P.I.) or give P.I. back.
PR Stunts: ~ with full disclosure.
- Brookside Speed Zone, 2018 McLaren Senna - ‘New S2 Road Race’ (111 960 179) by Don Joewon Song, - one run, no rewind.
- High Street Speed Trap, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544), - one run, no rewind (as it should be, it’s a straight line run up).
- Mudkickers’ Showjump Danger Sign, 2019 Rimac Concept Two - ‘PR Stunt Rally’ (120 633 544), hit the pipe a number of times, rewind to retry, two full no hit runs off the ramp, first failed due to landing, second was successful.
Solo championships - Raced against Expert, Steering: Simulation, ABS: on, Traction/Stability: Off, Gearbox: Auto.
**Championship: “Teen Spirit” | Dirt Racing | (C600) Decade: 1990s
**Car used: 1992 VW Golf GTi 16v Mk2 (Autoshow 20,000 Cr)
**Tune: C600 Dirt / 103 357 208
Actually felt this car/tune might lead to a ‘competitive’ win vs. the A.I.,as was originally used in a Hatch event, however worked really well in this event (would be different vs other players as no system matching to my choice of car). Quick, easy to control car on road and offroad, although slow off the line. Tune is FWD, no aero, rally/snow tires.
**Championship: “Mining For Gold” | Cross Country | (C600) Offroad
**Car used: 1972 Land Rover Series iii (Autoshow 20,000 Cr)
**Tune: C600 Offroad CC / 156 856 170
Quick, fun wild car/tune ~ sometimes hard to keep pointed in the right direction. Try to avoid hitting things where possible, can become unstable after collisions with breakables. Going to say, for beginners, maybe not, for others this will have no problem beating the A.I provided no mishaps. Tune is supercharged, offroad/snow tires, tire on hood/bonnet, mudflaps.
**Championship: “I’ll Make a Van Out of You” | Dirt Racing | (D500) Vans and Utility
**Car used: 1983 GMC Vandura G-1500 (Autoshow 25,000 Cr)
**Tune: D500 Dirt CC AWD / 102 928 420
Maybe the slowest choice for the event, but very easy to drive/control - also seems to make the A.I. only use it too. Event will be a little competitive, no run away wins. Tune is AWD, rear Forza air (cheat), rally/snow tires.
N.B - ran the weekly in completely stock TVR, agree with others, too many treading the needle skills required, used a ‘quick’ version of the race selected via the ‘popular this week’.
Maybe will be helpful to someone.
Enjoy.
