Will Horzion 2 DLC Cars work with FM5?

Used the search function, couldn’t find any other threads about this.

Will Forza Horizon 2 DLC Cars also work (or be integrated by T10) into Forza Motorsport 5 as well?

They use the same engine. Not everyone is going to switch over to Horizon 2. Many players will probably play both or only one game.
Releasing the same car packs on both would definitely keep both Horzion 2 and Forza 5 players happy and also extend the life of Forza Motorsport 5 until Forza Motorsport 6.

What does everyone else think?

no. if there is a chance of anything its letting you take a few of your fm5 cars into horizon

My thoughts exactly. Like what they did with the original Horizon gave you a few cars that were in FM4. But we will see what they do this time round.

Nah. Different games. It’d be like using guns from one COD game in a different COD title.

Even if the same car is released in both games, it isn’t the SAME car- The game engines aren’t identical.

No. Also, if Horizon 2 is like the first one. The first 12 months of DLC are just going to be cars that are already in FM5 anyway. So dont worry about it.

I’m not going to “switch over” from FM5 to FH2, in the sense of abandoning one for the other. I will continue to play them both, as they both are a different kind of experience. Since they are two different games, I do not expect the DLC files to be compatible to both games.

I think horizon shouldnt have forza in the title. Maybe Need for speed horizon…
I also think I spent alot money rebuying cars that were most free in FM4.

No, they won’t transfer, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see some of Horizon 2’s new models first as DLC for FM5.
