Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the FM5 future DLC? Can we expect a race car pack like FIA WEC cars? Toyota Audi Oreca R1 lmp2’s or GTE’s?
Or even gt3’s!
Well if anyone does know just keep me posted (praying to god that the TS040 gets added)
We’re expecting a free car pack in August featuring a couple of Infiniti Q50s. Also, Turn 10 has mentioned that there will be more DLC cars in the “week and months” ahead. Apart from that we have no other details; but, I do recommend lowering your expectations and wouldn’t anticipate anything you’ve suggested.
After Horizon 2’s release on the last day of September, I highly doubt any more Forza 5 add-ons will arrive.
Others will probably know more than I do … but it seems to me that we may be nearing the end of the road with FM5 DLCs. We have the Infinitis coming in August and maybe one or two after that, but they’ve already released about all that have been discussed in the past and with the release of Horizon 2 nearing … my feeling is that the focus will shift a bit to content for Horizon 2. All games have a limited life as far as DLC and additional content goes before the devs and producers have to move on to the next games.
I hope you realize 2 completely different teams are working on the games, and all they share are vehicle assets. They were still putting out new contact for Forza 4 after the launch of Horizon, I’m sure it will be the same this time around. The more they develop and add to Forza 5, the more that can be transferred into Forza 6.
No there wasn’t. Forza 4’s final DLC released September 2012. Forza Horizon released October 2012. Regardless of the developers being two different studios (now three), Turn 10 realigns its attention with Horizon 2 starting September 30th.
I’ll gladly wait for the first week of September to see if they’re really done with the DLC for this game.
But, until that moment, the Infiniti Pack is all we will get
I see the July DLC pack as the last one for FM5 and this Infinity pack as maybe the last bonus DLC. I really do hope they release at least one more track and one more decent 10 car DLC pack, but it doesn’t look likely. FH2 comes out late September (or early October in some countries, like here in Australia), so realistically (and going by previous FM games) the month of August will most likely be the last DLC month for FM5…
as of right now I haven’t touched forza for a month. I want to but cant. I would rather have 50 tracks just in game then to have what we have now. im sorry but you put a indy car in the game. why cant we have every indy car track so its more sim, with like indy leagues and stuff? same goes for the f1 car. ill say it again I would like a more gran tursimo view. like just mid rear race leagues and ff, fr , rr . just 70s cars just 400kgs . you guys see where im going. its not a classic race with 70s cars and a 300 z from 200 in it
We may see a September FM5 car pack, as well. Maybe. Either way, I’m not expecting new racing leagues to be added. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the next car pack has a 1989 Yugo GV in it.
(Random Fun Fact: The model name, GV stood for “Great Value.” True story.)
Idk guys i think the Infiniti pack in august will be it then it all shifts to fh2 and that will be that but we’ll see , Ive been praying and begging since the forza 2 days that they would add chevy monte carlo street versions ( 72/77/86ss ) and the closet i got was the stock car version which i loved! i even wish that would come back.
I agree with needing more race cars. I haven’t bought any of the DLC because there is not enough variety. I’m not buying a 10 car pack for maybe 2 or 3 cars I want and the prices for individual cars make that not a smart buy either.
We should know by the end of the week if there is more then the two free Infiniti cars in August. If there is another 10 car pack for August it should come out next Tuesday and there should be some news about it by Friday.
I reckon we will have a couple more car packs, then they will also release Monza Track at the start of September to coincide with the Italian GP to end the DLC.
