Are the cars based on FM5 or FH2?

I mean is the car list being based on FM5 or FH2, because 5 has a lot of the cars I want on 6, while 2 does as well, so the answer to this will be what I say on the car wishlist thread

or is it a mix of both :o

I would guess its both why would Turn 10 create a car for Horizon 2 and not include it in Forza 5.

There ARE cars in Horizon 2 that do not exist in FM5…

It happens more often than you think, Duke. For example, the Toyota FJ Cruiser was introduced with the original Forza Horizon but hasn’t made an appearance in a Forza title since.

i would say probably both. if you can share assets it makes it much cheaper to make = more profit.

The vehicles of Forza Horizon titles are, in fact, assets that belong to Microsoft Studios. As a result, we’re likely to see many of those carry over to Forza Motorsport 6. The transition of assets from Forza Motorsport 5 to 6 is guaranteed–albeit, it’s possible not every vehicle will make the cut.

some cars honestly dont belong in fm, like that freekin semi sized pickup as wide as the whole track that just drove over me rather than around me. then we were both slogging back to the track. did he think i was braking just for the heck of it and not the corner? we dont need house sized vehicles in fm6.

Read the 2013 (!!!) M135i that wasn’t put in Forza 5, and the M3 GTS, and M3 GTR…

I could see most of the performance oriented cars from FH2 making it in FM6, but certain vehicles such as the Willy’s Jeep may get left out as there is no real use for that in a some what Simulation based racing game, based on Motorsport.

I hope it has both games, and then a few new cars too!
