Wide body kits and new rims

The need for speed trailer blew me away but the car handling doesn’t really appeal to me, it looks very ‘arcadey’ so I just thought I’d post this in hope that the developers might see and maybe add some body kits and rims like in need for speed cause we’ve been stuck with the same crap body kits and rims for the past 5 games and even for a few cars we’ve actually lost body kits like for example the Supra and the R32 and I know they added some new rims for horizon 2 but let’s be honest they’re still not the best so please turn 10 if you see this can you add more body kits and rims please. I know it all comes down to licensing but I doubt it can be that hard for game as big as Forza to get a few body kits and wheels licenses I’d even be happy if they just ripped off some brands and made they’re own similar ones.

When it comes to licensing, some licenses might be quite detailed and quite limiting with what you can do and not do with particular makes and models. If you want to remain in good standings with the companies that you DO have a license with, it’s probably not a good idea to “just rip off some [other] brands”. It’s about keeping a reputation in the business.

If they start ripping some brands off, they might lose some licenses with brands that might lose confidence. Better stick with the licenses they have and not create trouble just to give us players more options when we already have quite a few. Yes, not as many options as some people might want, but some times you just need to accept what you get.

Rip off rims are a bad idea, but I hope they will either get more licences or maybe more rims from the licenses they have, same goes with body mods.

I’ve always wondered why cars such as Hondas don’t have as many (aesthetically helpful) body kits as they should. And the wheel selection has felt quite small, and there are only a few that I generally choose from.

yeah i’d be sooo stoked to see a liberty walk or rocket bunny or RWB wide body kit in Forza 6.
soo sick to have a liberty walk 458 or aventador!!!

I feel like we’re owed a Rocket Bunny kit for the BRZ/FRS/86 in the game after Forza 5 teased us so badly with the damn Falken paint competition.

the franchise has done nothing but narrow the selection of rim / aero options between FM3 and FM5. FH2 brought a refreshing addition of some HRE wheels but, if I’m not mistaken, there were also a selection of wheels removed. Modification used to be a big selling point for me, but, now I am just consistently disappointed buy it. I have no hope for this one improving either and will most likely focus on NFS, because, they will definitely have the visual options I want and are really hyping tuning specifically the handling and grip in that game to help make it feel how you want. I know it won’t be super realistic, I’m just looking for fun.

I’ll reserve FM6 for competitive racing, but something tells me, that, my downward trending game time on the Forza series will continue.

They should get the 2000 civic si and the eg and they should also get some different rims and wide bodies this would make the game way more fun I like need for speed because of the car costumization but the driving sucks and forza is way better just needs some more costumization.

New rims and bodykits are most likely not going to happen. No previous Forza title to my memory has added new parts of cars, only new cars.

Horizon 2’s Storm Island add-on added new rally parts for cars already in the game. So you never know.

And the Smart ForTwo in Forza 4 had wide body kits, so it is possible.

I actually changed from the Gran Turismo series to FM because of the possibility of changing bumpers and painting. off course the handling were better also. (back in the GT3/GT4, and FM2)
I know the licensing is hard so for those who want better bodykits options I think the best way to get it is to post in the wishlist tread. the more people that ask for it the more lightly T10 will make an effort to make that happen.
U never know

I left GT for FORZA as well due to the customization…but it’s like each rendition it gets less and less detailed…to the point they don’t even mention the engine codes for swaps anymore…like wtf…what if I wanted the B18C1 instead of the C5? That was a huge selling point for me with Forza 4 was the engine codes and the details they had…I skipped Forza 5 as I went to PS4, bought an XB1 strictly for Forza 6 with hopes of it being like 4 but even better…quite the opposite unfortunately…but I mean, I still play it cuz I bought it lol.

I simply wish they would allow us to paint the centers of some of the wheels. At least the multi-piece wheels should be able to have the centers painted while leaving a polished lip. It would be even cooler if we could paint the centers and lips separately so we could have a lot more variation on the rims we already have.

I think that the body kit options are absurd. Rediculously ugly. I look at most of them & scratch my head thinking, who the heck decided this was a good option or even worthy of being in forza 6??
I think the same about a lot of the rim options too.

Which is prolly why 90% of my cars are rocking HRE wheels lol.

or at least for some particular body kits make the single car , like it was on the the first 3 forza with the rx7 versions with a wide body ( re amemya etc ) … or like the supra and Silvia S15 top secret…

i hope too for a brz/gt86 rocketbunny wide body with bumpers/sideskirt/wing modification

I remember I really enjoyed FM3 and FM4 because it blended customization with simulation very well. That’s why I was really looking forward to FM6 (skipped 5), so that I could build my FR-S the exact way I have it. But… I can’t. The wide body kits, whether you love or hate them, are nice because it gives personality! Also, as someone mentioned, why did they take out the engine info? The engine type i.e. LS, or FA, ect, or even the displacement! That would be lovely to have. I’ll just have to pester the wishlist for that.

Rims would be good, considering the majority of the rims in Forza 6 have been in the franchise since Forza 3. As far as I’m aware HRE are the only additions to the rim section since Forza 3.

Adding new kits I’m not too bothered about, because I know Forza will probably never have them. Been crying out for them since Forza 2, but it seems that now, especially in Forza 6, that the number of kits has actually shrunk. Good example of this is the R32 Skyline. There were at least 3 or 4 different kits available in previous games, now there are none.

The whole customisation aspect of the franchise has taken a back seat since Forza 2/3, which is a shame. Because, for me at least, it was such an integral part of the game.

I wouldn’t mind different forza branded body kits, like front and rear forza bumpers in Forza 2. Even different forza splitters and wings would keep most people happy for now. It doesn’t have to be licensed body kits and to be honest it doesn’t have to be all out full NFS 2015 customisation for every car, just new wins and splitters for every car would be nice… Though I’m not saying I wouldn’t like NFS customisation for every car

Not sure about wide body kits in Forza. Considering how the DK 350Z has a wide body kit.
