Why was the word "god" censored from the Chvrches song in game?

Just wondering why the word was censored in game? I dont remember it being censored previously song is “Never Say Die” by Chvrches

damn, yeah wasnt sure if this was the reasoning or not.

Censoring ‘High’ was worse than censoring ‘God’

I find phrases such as “eat my dust”, “another one bites the dust”, “lol” and “you can’t catch me” in the quick chat extremely offensive and I want them removed :wink:

I find X class offensive
Can they be removed too

Should listen to your engine not the radio anyway

They’re targeting an ESRB rating of E, and some of the songs had lyrics that would have bumped them up into E10+ or T. For whatever reason, this was either unnoticed at release, or the ESRB requirements changed, so the songs needed to be ‘patched’.

I bet you it was the Lego tie-in that forced them to tighten up to the ‘E’ rating.

Song edits were mentioned in the Release Notes posted at the Forza Support site on March 26 in reference to the ESRB, and earlier in February. Instead of speculating further, you can contact the developers through the Support site or submit a question for the July Forza Monthly Q&A.
