The developers want to hear ALL the feedback both positive and negative ( as long as those posts are made within the ToS, (no swearing, no calling people names, attacking people, making wild accusations etc etc)) and people should be able to share their opinions and feedback without feeling badgered for those views.
Its their opinion and its not for anyone to change anyones mind or convince them theyre wrong.
