Simply put, because almost every game nowadays is dumbed down and caters for noobs.
Turn assists off.
I chose the charger and it had under and oversteer depending on the corner. Granted it was a lot easier to control than FM7 but itâs there. In the escort I would do unintentionally donuts if I let the tail go too far out on drifts on dirt and it would understeer on tarmac for tight corners.
Overall what Iâve seen so far the cars have high grip but the rawness of each car is still present. The handling felt more natural.
The beef I had with FH3 is that everything understeered. With the few cars Iâve driven so far, it seems that balance issue is mostly remediated.
If you are taking every corner flat out, youâre likely using an S2998 or X999 car, i.e. the FH4 equivalent of an F1 car.
I do agree that danger signs, speed zones, and speed traps have been lowered a bit on the difficulty scale. I do not see that as a bad thing though, as some of the danger signs and such in FH3 were frankly unreasonably difficult. FH4âs set can still be difficult depending on your vehicle choice. It is obvious that certain vehicles can âcheeseâ them. There will never be any avoiding of that. If you find them too easy, challenge yourself to climb the leaderboards for them.
Oversteer/understeer are most definitely present. Nothing else to say on that.
FH4 is obviously more arcade-style. It has been that way from that start. FH3 had a Hot Wheels expansion for cryinâ out loud. If youâre looking for ultra-realism, this isnât the game for you.
Been looking for a good arcade racer, Iâm pretty sure I found it
Not sure what vehicles or class your driving in, but this certainly doesnât describe what Iâm doing.
In my assessment, this would be closer to FM7 physics than FH3. Almost every car I drive stock, has oversteer and weight transfer issues. Now I can, of course, fix this through tuning, but I do have to modify it in some way to keep it stable.
Sure, If I want to beef the car up with grip tires, weight reduction, and wings, I can make it hug the road just fine⌠but them Iâm in S2 Class, and most of my driving is A and S1 Class, as are the majority of my cars.
So, I guess itâs one of those âagree to disagreeâ⌠Car handling is not an issue I would be complaining about with FH4. Now if you want to talk about WheelSpinsâŚ
I sincerely wish that the moderators would enforce against the calling of anyone a ânoobâ. Sorry but if youâre really using this term, you have an intelligence score of 000. Everyone is new to everything at some point and referring to someone who is a new player as a noob is the most derogatory and offensive and ignorant for that matter statement I can think of in forums. Do you go around punching babies in the face too and screaming, âCome on! Get bigger! (face punch face punch). Hey! Is me punching you in the face helping you get physically larger in size?â If youâre better than someone at something, donât be a yutz about it. Maybe you should instead focus on using what you know that makes you a more skilled player to help others improve their own playing experience⌠Or you know, donât do that. Itâs only intelligence, it isnât a requirement to exist unfortunatelyâŚ
Saying people âhave an intelligence score of 000â isnât any different from calling someone a ânoobâ. If you donât like the term, be above it and donât use it, or simply point out its issues without resorting to personal attacks.
What I say the game is catered towards ânoobsâ, itâs just synonymous with âpoor playersâ. That equivilance has been around forever, and it really isnât that derogatory or offensive. And how exactly is it ignorant?
No one has used noob as a direct insult in this thread.
I wasnât personally attacking anyone. And partly I agree. Maybe itâs just a product of simple human nature. But I am significantly more comfortable with attacking anyone when it is in the defense of another person that brainlessly referring to anyone who starts playing Forza anything a noob. It offers nothing, no information, no tips or assistance. I just makes for a toxic community and pretty soon people start to fear participating in the forums for fear that their post will be filled with people referring to them as a noob. Iâd have to imagine however that if the use of this term resulted in even temporary bans that it would be eliminated from the forums.
I find it the opposite, down the little lanes just south of the city, in winter especially my A class RS turbo Escort I struggle to reach 100mph. Iâve only driven the road in winter so i dont know how much quicker Iâd be. Itâs possibly my favourite road on the game so far. I am on a wheel tho with every assist off
Iâve been playing Forza since the original and the Horizonâs are not meant to be ârealâ like the motorsports. That being said though⌠what do you have your settings at? Do you have stabiltrack, traction control, and abs on? If you have all those on it is really easy to take corners at high speeds. I personally only use the abs set to the medium level so I donât lock up the wheels, with my settings you canât take corners at full speed but you can take them faster in the game than in real life. I would say drifting in this game is a lot of fun though because almost every car you can drift and control the drift quite well. I honestly think that out of all the Horizonâs this is my favorite, almost takes me back to the classic need for speed games before they went bad.
I donât believe you when you say you can take every corner flat out.
You may be good and think the game has been dropped in skill levels for us ânubs,â but thereâs no way you can take every single corner of every single circuit and street in every single car flat out.
LIES!!!
Just seems like it is a put down for anyone who is a relatively new player. Historically those considered noobs are generally looked down upon and that seems unnecessary to cause people to feel that way. It is ignorant because in the case of your definition of the word, nobody ever starts out good at anything. Iâm not creating anything here that hasnât already existed but personally I wonât refer to anyone that way.
