I’m just wondering why they took out ,and still haven’t put back in ,user created lobby’s .I can’t meet anybody in my style of racing ,I drag race off tail lights not on the tree ,and there’s a lotta people who do this ,and want these lobby’s back .we could set classes and curtain tracks to run ,but none of this will happen without this option .i can only do this with my friends and racing the same peeps gets old .And don’t tell me to go online to the tree because everyone that races on tree online isn’t fast I like comp.i hope turn ten recognizes this needs to be in this game thnx

Why would the competition be any better just because you created the lobby?
Because fast people won’t join the gay online drag tree lobby’s ,because all new kids run there n run high end cars .we as a community all like pi locked cars, for fun, not just fully built cars. there’s no skill in it ,if u don’t no about drag on this game u won’t understand .see on fm4 we could search for drag rooms people were running in our pi catagory we liked, it was great ,I would meet new people everyday ,now I can’t meet noone new because no one plays in online drag lobby’s with tree .we street race so everyone is forced to run with friends list only ,u can do so much more in a street race than on the tree. drag racing was designed on fm2 ,on the street .I’ve been hardcore sense then ,but the comunity is dwindling away without these lobby’s, drag is huge and turn ten gives it no attention, like curcuit ,if they did many more would buy this game ,but because the word is out on this big missing problem in this game ,no one plays it and it sucks bad.i am a pioneer in street racing and am loosing my interest in a game I’ve loved so much hopefully u understand now why this hurts the drag comunity on forza. Thnx

Of all the many features stripped away for this version of Forza, user created lobbies are the thing I want back most. Like the OP says, its the best/easiest way to meet like minded players.
Drag racing has never appealed to me, but the point remains the same.

With user created lobbies in this game, It would bring in a lot more people. I know I would play more if we had this option. I like to see other paint jobs, how can you see paint jobs if your racing in a circle.

I’d like custom lobbies back too, all I play on FM5 is Tag Virus, because that’s the only gamemode I can enjoy the car I’m driving, in a relaxed style anyway. I used to join ‘Cruise’ lobbies back on FM4, it was pretty fun and relaxing, some lobbies would be dragging at the end of Le Mans too. If they brought them back, it should contain a gamemode named ‘Cruise’, and delete lobby waiting and make it like Horizon was, you can just jump in.
We should make a din, like the ‘Racers’ did on here, they got what they wanted in the end, “race” cars. I personally regret purchasing the Season pass (£26.49), even though I got it on discount, because the last few packs were mostly filled with race cars, I can’t use them in Tag, actually I can’t use many of the cars in the last pack in tag without engine and drivetrain swaps, which is pointless, because then it’s not the same car.
Back on topic though, I build cars to go fast in a straight line, but don’t use the Drag gamemode online, I personally don’t like the waiting times and the fact it’s mostly Alfa 33s or Venoms. I’ve got some seriously fast S class cars, (because I play Tag virus), no ones really beaten my cars. I’m not a top speed guy either, I tune mostly for the best acceleration, but without sacrificing top speed, if that’s makes sense, aslong as it tops out over 200mph, then I’m suffice.
User created lobbies would eliminate the trolls altogether too, especially since the vote to kick option is nearly worthless online.

Vote to kick works perfectly… every time my friends and I vote to kick somebody I get black screened. That’s flawless right there!

There was a fairly long thread about the “missing” features like auction house, car gifting, etc, and the decisions that may have gone into them being “in” or “out”.
Factors might include the feature’s:
-popularity
-programming time
-relevance
-sales
-potential abuse (e.g. auctionhouse cashgrab)
Given these criteria, I cannot understand why UCPLs would be left out. Doing so removes a good 90% of “emergent” gameplay- things like cruising, demolition derby, photoshoots, and so on. I used to love that stuff.
What were they thinking?

I have a feeling online lobbies will be a “new” feature for Forza 6, I dont see online lobbies coming to F5 as i doubt T10 will support F5 once Horizon is out.
A feature that, because it was removed, single handedly killed the drift community.

they didnt had time to integrate them. perhaps they spent the times they would Need for the puplic Lobbys to Programm the drivatersystem.
and i hope they come back in f6. f3 had a new graphic engine and Cockpit view for all the cars but no public Lobbys. we had to wait for f4.
i see a simmilar process here.
f5 is the base and it will be interesting what turn 10 brings in the future cause they have plenty of time to bring forza back to the Level that makes everybody happy.
Bam! Work it out in there, meet new people, organize racing event. Then invite.
User created lobbies are junk full of elitist plus a waist of my time. The only fun I ever had with user created lobbies where in Forza 2 and maybe two lobbies in Forza 4.

only a very insignificant amount of players on Forza even use these forums, so this isn’t really the answer. Most people i race with, and met through UCLs, don’t even look on here

Savage One-Your post seems suspect/trollish mainly because you’re replying in a thread that has to do with a subject that is a waste of your time but I’ll reply with this question. What’s wrong with having options? Also user created lobbies is a subject that pertains to all of forza 5 not just the drift and drag lounge.
It’s a shame. During Forza 2-3, post used to average 20+ pages with 10,000 unique visitors daily. That could of filled a lobby or two.
I know a lot of folks just don’t have the XB1, or have started off with different games.
FM6 and on will probably be more popular in the forums going forward.
I ran into some devs in a public lobby and asked this question, he told me it’s not in there because apparently us the gamers do not want it. [Mod edit -WSD, implied profanity] is with that
