Microsoft have done well to capture some truly stunning British scenery, and adorned the cover with a McLaren to really push home the British theme, but from all trailer, it looks like all the cars are Left Hand Drive, despite the fact that they are all driving on the Left hand side of the road. Even the British made cover car has the LHD treatment. I’m sure in the grand scheme of thing it doesn’t really matter as I’m never on the road anyway, but it does seem like an obvious authenticity detail to miss out on. Thoughts??
Cars are Both Left and Right hand drive in Horizon 3 so I am guessing Horizon 4 will be the same

I think he is on about British cars being left hand drive, this doesn’t make sense as all cars in the previous games tried to stick to country of origin side of car
It does make sense. If you look at the country origin break down of all the cars in Forza 4, you’ll notice the vast majority are from European countries. And if they’re doing Britian, where people drive on the left, they might be doing the whole “artistic liberties” and “immersion” thing and making all the cars that can be left hand drive IRL left hand drive in game. Should be interesting to see what side of the car the 2018 Mustang has it’s steering wheel sense it is available in left hand drive, too, for the first time ever.
But only gamers would go, “What? This game that takes place in Britain by British/Scottish/Irish developers has all the steering wheels on the left side. What? That’s wrong.” (For whatever reason, I’m giving Gamers and ironic British accent. For irony’s sake.)

It doesn’t make sense even most British cars are left hand drive in this game, it’s really annoying. If they were doing it by origin why is there a lack of rhd, this should be rectified even bond cars ( British films) lhd I just don’t get it as these are new cars for this game how can they get it this wrong especially when considering PGG are British themselves. When they announced it would be in Britain I was excited but now it’s ruined it for me. They should’ve made all cars that could come in rhd to be rhd. It’s a lot simpler than you think. They don’t need to rescan and remodel all they need to do is mirror the dash and keep the dials and paste in correct place. If I wouldn’t get banned I’d hack the game and sort all the issues myself so I’d enjoy it more. I would also sort out what I’ve been asking for since FM3 exhaust tips. Sorry for wanting people but it’s the little things that have ruined what could possibly have been the best racing game experience ever.
No they didn’t. If the car was a US-spec Aston Martin, for example, the steering is on the left hand side.
There were many British cars in previous games that were left hand drive, again, it depends on which version of the car they modeled.

More than likely the cars they based the models are with US spec and not Euro spec.
This way we only have to drive on the wrong side of the road and not on the wrong side of the car, too 
The McLaren F1 GT should solve the problem ; )

I get what you’re saying … but the flip side of that point of view is that it’s much easier to judge distances and proximity when approaching oncoming cars the closer you are to them.
That’s why we drive on the right side of the road😁
Happens with all Forza games. Some cars are left, some are right. Depends what car they had access to and which cars actually are built in which configuration.

Its stupid that they model cars in a format different to the country of origin… Really stupid.
And I also hate the fact that they chose the American spec Land Rover Defender too because it’s right hand left hand drive (and an automatic)… This means that both of the cover cars are ‘wrong’ hand drive for the UK!
They 3D scan the cars that are made available to them. They don’t get to chose.

Why there are all left hand drive cars in the horizon 4?
It is strange to drive on the left of the road in a LHD car in the UK!!!
Is it able for the developer to adjust this issue?
It’s annoying, it sucks, but we will have to live with it. They aren’t going to re-model 90% of the cars interiors just for one game. So you’ll just have to suck it up, I’m afraid.
As a Brit with my sim rig set up as RHD it really used to annoy me that nearly all games have LHD cars but now I just accept it.
