Simhub, you forward to the PC IP in Forza, then I run it on a fire stick.
Also run the bass shakers through the PC

I was in your camp, can’t go back now
Thrustmaster stuff here: TS-XW base, T-LCM pedals, TH8A shifter, and either the Sparco P310 or TM Open Wheel rim.
No interest in using a controller for sim/simcade racing. I like the immersion of using a wheel.
Im on a Logi DDPro with a simple but solid wheel stand. Was a long time controller user but happy I made the switch. I can say I have noticed improvements to the FFB in FM and happy we will finally get truforce support, Next update by the looks of it.
Quick question for you wheel users:
When going into a corner and braking hard, do you sometimes feel that the vibration/feedback completely goes dead and the driver stops turning the front wheels until you really, reallyyyy slow down to allow more wheel lock?
It’s so weird…I’m on controller, and at times, the input just goes dead and the driver stops turning the wheel. The AI flys right by!
No you don’t get the speed limited steering on a wheel. In fact if you use normal steering on a wheel you still get the inertia assists without the speed limited steering attached.
I know what you mean about the controller feeling numb to input until you slow down enough. There is none of that with a wheel, you have full rotation at all times.
Wheel and controller are very different,
If you go to driver view where you can see the wheel, your input matches the screen exactly, where controller, you transfer weight to the front, all of a sudden you get more steering input.
I had to add the bass shakers though, without trigger vibration, it’s hard to tell if your spinning or locked.
The rig, lots of modding and self building/designing in this.
The wheel I use on Forza Motorsport, a custom combination of parts from Fanatec and Cube Controls.
Nice job! Put my X-Rocker chair to shame, rofl
Yeah a controller is for videogames, the more serious simmers use Wheels and extravagant setups only limited by the imagination.
Wow… That is a sweet setup!
If that were me, I’d have a hard time ungluing myself from it.
Are you planning to add any simulation/G force or inertia aspects to it later?
No plans for motion. I play on Xbox and UDP support for most games (including Forza) is somewhat limited. May look into haptic pedals but again, depends on what UDP hooks games have and if it adds something to the experience.
At the moment I only drive in Forza Motorsport and EA SPORTS WRC, the latter doesn’t have UDP on console at the moment whereas Forza’s missing a bunch of features (which I have suggested here).
I was thinking of picking up EA WRC but reviews don’t look too encouraging. People saying they “EA’ed” the game too much and it doesn’t feel like a Dirt Rally game but rather arcadey. Thoughts?
I love rallying and want it to feel right. Dirt Rally 2 feels great.
I am a wheel player.
I’d post a photo, but it’s just a plain living room. Hanging on the wall is a 65" 4k HDR10 tv. My wheel is a Thrustmaster T128 mounted on a folding Next Level stand. The wheel and stand store away when not in use, and aside from the XBox and PS5 on the TV stand, there is nothing out.
I have a non-rolling side chair that I move over in front of the wheel when driving.
Pretty good racing setup, considering I wanted something “invisible” while not in use. I did have to lower the TV wall mount about 4 inches, so my field of view was vertically centered while sitting behind the wheel.
I’m biased but there’s very few games I play past 100% completion. WRC is one of them.
It’s basically DiRT Rally 3 (in fact it would have been if it didn’t have the WRC license).
The GT Racer looks nice and comfy. Does Next level sell any of the stiffeners that GT Omega use to have in their version? IIRC the GT Omega Pro Cockpit had extra uprights that would stiffen the pedal deck considerably. It is a shame that GT Omega stopped selling the Pro, but their replacement isn’t shabby. It just costs 2 times what the pro cost (The Titan replaced the Pro).
Been using track titan seems ok for the free version. 50 laps per month free, missing some paid features. Any other apps out there for the data out function?
SimHub for dashboards and the like, lots of customisation.
Tune It Yourself App
I can only recommend it for tuning and it reads your telemetry data live and gives you tips on what you should adjust, there is also a free version of it. and that via UDP CONNECTION
I absolutely love your setup - in particular the simhub dash (or w/e you use) above the old fashioned fire - is so very cool. Also your dedication to Atmos is admirable!
*edit:
man looking at your setup makes me a little jealous - if I had that atmos arrangement I would be most excited to play Monster Hunter (yes I know it’s a weird game to bring up on a motorsport forum but hear me out): The positional audio while fighting monsters is incredible - add that to the incredible orchestral sound-track and your setup has me salivating.
