Your Dream Wheel Setup

Hey guys,

I am in need of assistance! I just got back into Forza (used to play a lot of 2 & 3) & now I’m in a great financial position so I can finally afford any setup I’d like. This is where I need your assistance. I’m not sure of what to pick up wheel + accessory wise. In the old days I wanted a fanatec Porsche setup, however it seems that Xbox no longer supports their wheels. Anyways, I am curious as to what you guys would recommend & want for your own setup?

Thanks!

I’d recommend a steering wheel and pedals connected to a real race car.

I apologize. I just couldn’t resist. I really don’t know what the best setup would be.

At this moment in time, you are limited to only 2 choices for force feedback wheels and pedals on the XB1. Either the Thrustmaster TX or the Mad Catz pro racing wheel. Fanatec has mentioned they are in the process of bringing a wheel to the market for consoles, but it could be a while before it shows up. As for seats/cockpits, there are endless possibilities you could go with. Some of the nicer rigs can cost upwards of a couple thousand depending on what you’re looking for. There’s always a Playseat, but like I said, there’s a lot out there.

Hey Guys,

I need your assistance! I used to play a lot of Forza back in the day (2 & 3), then I cooled off on it & now I’m finally back. I now have the means to pick up a wheel + pedals set, & I’ve always wanted a Fanatec Porsche wheel, but I see that Fanatec wheels are no longer supported by Xbox. So here’s where I need your assistance, I was hoping you guys could share with me what your favorite wheels, pedals, shifters, etc. accessories are so it could aide me in my decision of what to pick up!

Appreciate all your input!

There are only two choices for Xbone. Thrustmaster and MadCatz. I think they are the same price. I don’t use a wheel but I would recommend the Thrustmaster TX. It comes with a two pedal set but I do believe you can upgrade to a high quality 3 pedal set. you can also upgrade the wheel rim.

Personally I am considering picking up the wheel and sticking with the paddle shifters and 2 pedal set and replacing the rim with the GT rim.
