Hey, I’m here because I feel like the cars which are in the DLC are most of them, useless.
Let me explain myself, for the 2 past DLC we had : An “old” japanese made (most often) for drift.
Ok ok just, drifting in the australian desert dosen’t exite me I personally want curved raods like fujimi kaido in FM4, but what’s the point of adding a car which going to be forgotten a week after the release?
We also had a old muscle car, as the ton already in the game, it can be a good thing for old car lovers, I won’t blame this cause it’s not my case and I can understand some cars can be important, but for me the main muscle cars that had marked our minds are already in the game.
We had another car like the Talbot or even the Lotus 340R, like, just why? I very don’t see the point of this kind of car, I wanna hear you guys if you like that or not, cause I feel like they put cars that no one care about.
BUT, the worst in this is the fact that, we already had an M4, already had a AMG GT, and already had a Viper (2012), they just set thoses care obsolete by putting the “sport” or faster model of them!!! I personnaly want NEW CARS, not remakes of some! I think much people alreay complained avout this and maybe this post will be deleted, I understand I’m nothing mire thà a player who’s confused but, let’s be honest?! I’d rather had the M3 F80 instead of the M4 GTS, or the mercedes benz S class, or something else but not a car that is already in the game!

Okay, after reading all of this, I’m going to break it down into a few different pieces.
So because you won’t use it, everyone will forget about this car being in the game?
I find that statement wildly incorrect, I’m loving the Supra, and don’t even have it set up for drifting, despite what the livery I have applied says. I will continue to use this car for the foreseeable future.
I’d hardly call the amount of classic muscle cars already in the game “a ton”. I feel the same way everytime another generic super/hypercar is added, yet I won’t say it shouldn’t be in the pack because I know some people like them.
Again, just because you don’t like them, no-one cares about them? The Lotus is a pretty decent Track Toy, and one that’s different to the others already in the game. As for the Talbot, that car is a great little really car, I’ve had a lot of fun driving it, and been pretty competitive in it.
Don’t hate on these kind of cars being in the pack just because you dislike them, because for every person that dislikes a car in a pack, there’s another 5 people who are excited for that car to be added.
The only part of this post I somewhat agree with, but like I’ve said, I’m sure that a lot of people were excited for them to be added.
Look at the comment next to the Viper. There were many examples in the wishlist thread of players requesting the best, newest, highest performing variant of known models. There were also requests by players of “Not the M, the base 3-series version” because players want the cars they own or a base version that they can tune up. PI isn’t the only priority for players either. Roughly half the DLC has addressed top wishlist cars while the other half has been new to Forza. If you look at the linked thread and my summary, you’ll see that everyone’s opinion is actually a minority opinion. So of course someone like you is going to feel like the DLC isn’t giving them everything they want. But if the DLC catered to your opinion, thousands of other players would say they don’t like the DLC mix from their perspective.
If you don’t like the DLC addons you still have hundreds of install cars to choose from.
This is why I don’t pay for the car pass or for DLC for nay game upfront, the only reason I was considering the ultimate edition was for the early access but ultimately I decided against it (I would’ve payed the money if I had like and extra week or 2 with the game). Out of the cars released in the dlc till now there are about 8 cars I would want and out of the 8 I could do without 4-5 of them because there are similar cars in the game already. I wish they had like a junior car pass where you picked like 3-4 cars because that would work for me, also it sucks that the garage limit is 550. When you pay such a premium for the car pass and you don’t get cars that you like you’re gonna be mad, its natural, another thing to consider is that the DLC cars don’t really have a value because so many people don’t have access to them at the auction house so you have to price the so low its ridiculous. Vote with your wallet!
I would be surprised to find anyone who loves every car in the game. Looking at JONK1969’s reply they are adding the cars that are the most requested. This makes perfect sense to me.
As far as the game is concerned I will always preorder at the highest level, including all VIP, preorder and DLC bonuses as well as purchasing all add ons, knowing full well that I will not love each and every car or each and every event. I have found that there will me more than enough cars/trucks and more than enough events to keep me excited. My grand total for each game will be around $150. Each game will give me at least a year’s worth of entertainment. That comes out to less than 50 cents per day if I play every day (I usually come close). Even if I only play 1/2 the days that is still about $1 per day. There is NO other entertainment that gives me this kind of value for each dollar invested.
I do vote with my wallet and am ready to pre-order the next in the Forza series as soon as that series is available for pre-order
Going against what I’ve said above, I genuinely hope they don’t. We have too many generic hypercars as it is, and too many overly similar McLaren’s as it is without adding another one in.
