What cars class d

What cars are the best in class d. I have a couple i can do good with but always seem to get beat even if i tune. Or upgrade stuff and cant tune as much. any help would be nice thanks

I don’t know about best for D class, there are a lot of cars again that seem pretty good and you might have different preferences. I really rather like the Sierra RS500 but I favour handling over top speed

88 VW Scirocco
69 Pontiac GTO
Corvette C3 (1970)
Charger Daytona
53 Ferrari Mondial

Listen to this guy here. He loves D class.

You mean he likes racing slow cars?

It’s a lot harder to get those top times and drive better in the lower car classes. Give it a go, you might learn a lot.

Yeah, I do. You don’t NEED 500 HP to have a fun race. Just look at MP: most ppl jump into S class cars with no idea how to drive 'em, how is THAT fun?

EDIT: The average gamer’s fixation in FH2 with turning every car into an S1 or S2 monster got boring extremely fast.

Lol I only meant it as a joke  but yes, I like racing all classes, everything up to R class, X class doesn’t really interest me all that much but don’t mind giving them a run once in a while.
@PPIDrive, yes it definitely is more of a challenge, been racing in hot hatch D class and I’ve found it to be more difficult than the races in higher classes, but that’s why I buy games for, to be challenged =)

Lol, sorry, mistook you for one of those hotshot 12-y.o. who thinks anyone not driving a hypercar is a loser.

My bad

Lol is all good, its the internet

But I’ve been running 400-500 hp in D class and dominating whenever I’m not taken out by terrible drivers. Lol.

I just started D class.

The only 2 cars anyone needs is the Cosmo and 88 Monte carlo. I haven’t raced my Cosmo online since the affinity is maxed and I know I’ll DNF 85% of the field. The Monte Carlo only DNFs 50% of the field which isn’t too bad.

The Chevelle is good too. Almost have that tune ironed out.

Keep in mind, sir, you appear to be some manner of car-demon.

I’ve seen some of your rivals times… O_o!!

YOU probably COULD “do that in a van”

Would a Bronco suffice? Lmao.

I threw together a build and made significant changes to the tune, but apparently the Bronco is stupid quick in D class. Didn’t think I was all that fast until I realized I ran a top 20 on one track. The reaction it received was entertaining. Lol.

I guess I’ll have to give some of these cars a try. I do like the lower classes so Cosmo, Monte Carlo, Bronco here we go… …first I have to finish the Alfa GTA which is terribly good but terribly slow.

1964 Chevrolet Impala. I do pretty well with it.

I’ve got a pretty nice tune for it as well.

D Class is awesome and actually clean racing, the few times I’ve joined.

I think any car can be competitive in D, depending on track mainly. I like to see variety.
But +1 Monte Carlo!

Nothing wrong with the lower classes. I like the variety of cars you can use in the lower classes. There is also the challenge of upgrading the car to stay under a certain limit.

I like the Ferrari Dino in D-Class.

But I’m not a good driver and I can’t draw quintessence from cars. So hard to say which one is the absolute best. I just like cars that I don’t need to struggle with ! So here is another question : what do you mean by best car ? Easy to drive in all conditions, really fast one… And mostly remember that all depends from the tune AND for the biggest part the driver. (I can take top tunes and still be beaten all the time ^^ )
