Hi,
I know some cars are better than others and that if you want to be competitive you need a good car, good build, good tune and the right car for the right car/class.
Now to know what cars are good to start with. Without looking at the leaderboards because that’s not fun and copying/cheating to some people.
Does anyone have a list of cars they tested in stock form at the same track with times (so I can know what cars are under and over PI valved)?
The best cars I’ve driven online in stock form are:
Ferrari 250 Cali in D class. Once you get used to the body roll its pretty darn fast at most tracks. That’s the car I’d race when the lobby sucked.
Holden HSV GTS or whatever its called in C was pretty good around speed tracks. It was the fastest at sebring but did well at nurb. Indy and Bathurst.
Hyundai Genesis. Really loved it at nurb and indy. I was thinking about trying to get it top 100 with a build and tune around nurb but then I remembered how much I don’t like hotlapping the track.
Don’t have any.times but all were likely around top 500-600 I would think.
The Holden outta the box is absolutely great. Smooth and strong.
I’ve won a decent ammount of b class races online with a rented 99 viper it is very easy to drive
Was in a online race last night and everyone with a mic wanted to run stock rented Zonda Cinque Roadsters. That car is pretty damn nice stock in S class. Not surprising of course.

Great work - I used to do this kind of thing in GT4 when I went back to being a student for a while and had free time once again.
I still do similiar in FH2 but not quite as thorough or diligent as this - it’s a great way to really get to know the cars and tracks and get a good appreciation for their strengths, weaknesses and all 'round characteristics.
