Please upvote it, it can’t be that our hard earned car points can’t be exchanged back to credits. I mean that is just time wasted.
For example i want to level up a car from 1 to 50 for the permanent car manufacturer discount, i upgrade the car exchanging credits for carpoints to upgrade it to class A or whatever. All is fine i got the parts i wanted and then i levelled it up to 50 where i get the 9200 carpoints. Why i can’t get back the credits i invested into it? I mean if the currency has an exchange rate of 500 carpoints = 4500 credits and i get 18500 carpoints after i levelled it up to 50 all combined, i should get back the credits.
So 18500/500=37x4500=166500 Credits if i remove all parts again. Just as an example i currently don’t know how many carpoints there are at the end. Of course i wouldn’t remove all parts, but i wouldn’t spend the carpoints that i earned AFTER i already bought them at all. So currently you earn a currency that you can’t even spend anymore, if you upgraded it with credits before you maxed the car.
TL:DR we need the option to exchange carpoints back to credits, else the currency that we earned is WORTHLESS.
I support this. I’d rather not hit a credit wall after it took 6 months to get rid of the CP wall. Being able to cashback CP, even at a lower rate than 1:9, would help avoiding that.

I find it to be quite well balanced as is.
*You want the fast track to tuning? Spend a few credits and have the points immediately.
*You wanna save a few credits and level? Well, understand it’ll take a few hours if your doing all 49 level-ups by driving.
*You want to have your cake and eat it too? Pick up a biography on Marie Antoinette and see how that usually goes.

The only thing you get for levelling up the cars now, is the car manufacturer discount of 5% for each car at level 50. If i spend money to upgrade the car to how i want it to be, i don’t get ANYTHING else out of this useless car levelling system. I have the choice between torturering myself levelling them up without any upgrades and can save money like this, or i don’t and REALLY WASTE money on another currency that shouldn’t even exist.
The whole system shouldn’t have been there in the first place, then i also wouldn’t feel the need to keep complaining about this NONSENSE.
To make it short, i still want to be rewarded after i already spent credits to upgrade the car. I want to be able to earn back the credits that i have spent on it. This way that annoying system still encourages players to level up their cars IF THEY WANT TO.

You get rewarded with a shiny achievement once youve leveled 30 cars to level 50
Yes but i already done that.
You also get car points. Its you choice to purchase the car points rather than acquiring them through progression. Ever action ever is based upon a risk/reward situation. The risk of purchasing car points: it makes the leveling system semantically null. The reward: you dont have to level your car to be able to add any and all items you want
But it’s nonsense the way they have put it into the game.
There is no risk/reward it’s just a waste.

Voted.
Another approach might be to stop locking Car Points to a specific car - let players spend their CP on any/all cars…
…When I already have a car upgraded as far as I want it and I’m still gaining more CP from leveling up that car, those additional CP will never be spent on this car - so let me spend it upgrading other cars.

Yes of course that would be fine too.
Either or both ways would work to stop the accumulation of CP that can’t be spent.
It was such an incredibly short-sighted system from the beginning.

This would work best if Car Points were to be combined across a manufacturer and/or all cars after a certain point.
