Was the Ultimate Edition worth it for you?

Yes !!

I’m happy with it so far. Forza 5 was a let down, even though I settled in to find plenty of things to do in it - painting, time trials and Rivals Challenges.

FM4 was brilliant - I still go back to it every now and then (to race Porsches mostly and visit some of the long gone tracks - Fuji, Amalifi Coast.

FM6 is a different name, with some recognizable features. I’ve been playing with Project Cars recently and although I enjoy the super simulation part of PCars, having Forza back is like meeting and old friend. It’s comforting to just jump right back in and set some competitive times on so many well-rendered cars.

The Demo scared me a bit - it seemed a little too much like Horizon with the mods, and the youth-oriented Fast 'n Furious atmosphere, but the full game has some nice, stripped-down features that I like. Overall the Ultimate Edition has been worth it.

I’d say if you think you’ll be wanting the majority of car packs released, then buy the Ultimate edition and save yourself a few dollars. If you don’t see yourself purchasing very many car packs, then don’t get it. You can always wait to see how the car packs look each month and if they start to look like something you’d buy, you can always purchase the car pack then and get all previous car packs as well.

So Far, No. Absolutely NO!!!

It’s just another Racing Game. I’m quite disappointed Really. Yes you get the Extra Car packs and VIP. But the game itself NO! It’s not worth it.

To be honest this is the last driving game I will buy. I feel so disappointed at the moment. It’s a waste of £80. Might as well have got £80 out my wallet and Burned it. The Racing in my opinion is Rubbish. But saying all this I am on strong painkillers at the moment that do affect my concentration a little. But, I still feel that this has been a total waste of money and as a Digital Download I can’t trade it in for something else.

What makes it worse Simone, is that you are paying Eighty quid, and I`m paying around Eighty Dollars. Almost half the price. Ouch. You should come play World of Tanks . Enough said.

I think we just need patches… turn 10 can sell more xbox1s, if we can get patches for fm6

Yes.

That’s really all that needs said.

No too many issues such as drivatars and sound problems. May be if Turn 10 can fix these problems than it just might be worth it.

Yup!

I’ll be playing this about until Forza 7 comes out so for me it’s totally worth it. Already!

Now if only racing online wouldn’t make my blood boil (rammers) it would be perfect but I realize how hard that is to fix.

In a word…

ABSOLUTELY!

I am probably going to regret saying this at one moment or the other in the future, but no, in hindsight, getting the ultimate edition was/is not worth it for me. I constantly have the feeling i have grossly overpaid for this game, even though the ultimate bundle is rationally speaking a “good deal”.

I think what bugs me most is the way the different bundles were marketed, leaving no other way to buy the bundles but from Microsoft itself, monopolizing the sales channels - and at the same time denying the customers/gamers a potential beneficial deal from other retailers.

For the time being, this what i experience when i start FM6. It will fade over time, and i admit the racing is fenomenal, even though the game is basically FM5 + bigger and more (not as good as FM4 yet)

So, was it worth for me… no and YES. Great game bundle but way too expensive in Europe.

I know it is a mixed response, but i believe i am not the only one who feels this way. But, whichever you buy, enjoy the game and have fun.

Well, my counterpoint. I was out of town most of September so early access was no use to me so I preorderd the hard copy from Best Buy and the game was waiting in my mailbox when I came home.

Bonus #1 was no early adopter first day loading frustrations this time. Bonus #2 I have the actual disk that I can give away or sell when done with the game in 9 months just like I have done since day one Atari etc.

Yes I paid a few bucks more and i am completly aware the code on the disk is meaningless other than proof of ownership. Dine so in order to have the gift of an actual disk in a case which in my experience makes it well worth it.

In my world, Seeing it on the shelf just like a book speaks for itself.

I am one of those Forza gamers that buy it every year but play it for a month and then never go back to it. I have a feeling buying the Standard version would be better for me because by the time I get good time into game, these bundle DLC’s will be on sale around Christmas or Holidays. Hard decision as I always love to have the best version and same as my Friends online.

In a word, heck yeah!! ok that was more than a word, I started out with a boatload of content (cars, good ones! )and 16 million credits, that saved me from having to race my heals off just to afford the cars I really wanted. Then, as other have said, came the early access, worth it? YEP!

It’s hard to say since part of it is the car packs and we have no idea what they are yet. So far I think it was worth it for the double earnings and the free Horizon 2 car packs. I’m assuming there’s a savings versus buying the VIP and Car Pass separately as well but I don’t know the price of those.

Yes it was
