Every time I start the game I lose my freaking ears.

Yeah, I wonder if there is a way to modify the game files to remove the video, on PC it plays the video all squished and tiny on the screen at about 110 decibels.
yes please, it’s way too loud and far too unskippable. not to disrespect the devs but i know who made it by now thanks. especially with how much it crashes i shouldn’t have to keep watching it (abd if they are covering more load screens, fine, put a progress bar i don’t care as long as it’s not deafening)
but i made this same complaint nearly 7 years ago about forza two, and the forum ripped me to shreds for having the cheek to value my own time and ears so highly, so, i would just start muting all your stuff before startup lol cos it ain’t ever changing
I tried poking around the files to see if there was any way to at least find the file and remove the audio from it, but it’s in an encrypted zip that while decryptable would likely no longer work without a way to re-encrypt it (if there was we’d probably see a tutorial on how to add more music as we can only listen to same 70 songs so many time).
Note to anyone poking around, fixing your permissions on windows apps is a pain once you take control of them to open them up, this is your friend:
icacls …\WindowsApps /reset /t /c /q
icacls …\WindowsApps /grant *S-1-15-2-1:(OI)(F)
icacls …\WindowsApps /grant *S-1-15-2-1:(CI)(F)
(then open the windows apps folder and apply the permissions in it back to the rest of the files, yes I know there’s a way to do it with the flags but it wasn’t working for me so I did it this way)
After 3 months still no fix ? Its makes me crazy to turn off the sound every single time during the launch…
