Agree with this. The weather is great on FM8, but there is no thunder or lightening at all on the ‘Thunderstorm’ setting. Yet on FM7 there is. Dont understand this and hope Turn 10 rectify this soon.

The weather related elements were excellent TBH from both FM6 and 7. Hoping to see those return and have them remove those awful wiper-induced silver marks or traces running along the windscreen. I’m hearing thunder but not seeing lightning. I’m still experiencing new condition and track combinations 3 months after launch.

Definitely something not right about thunder. Also heavy rain I think it always goes suddenly bright on the second lap, like the rain had stopped, it hasn’t.

I have two nitpicks; the first is that wipers are shaders that interact and interfere with the RT, the second is that rain is featured too often in free play. It needs to be less common. Other than that the variety of conditions on track are really, really impressive.

Just did the Suzuka race in the last Open Cup on the current update (Update 4). There is both thunder and lightning in that race just to rebuke the claims that there are none during thunderstorms. Not sure if this has been added during a hotfix, I think it’s been there all the time.
