V8 Supercar Sound

its so wrong… Watch the videos below to compare and in forza 6 it seems they all sound the same, this is not the case and its very disappointing that the Volvo or Mercedes (most distinct difference) sound exactly the same. you can close your eyes and know when a Volvo or Mercedes pass that’s how different the sound is.

-Volvo sound

-Mercedes sound

-test day with raw sound

Shame
I was hoping to hear that distinct S60 noise pumped through my 7.1 Sony Home Theatre tonight but ahhh well.Still stoked that Carusos Nismo Altima is in the game!

Is a bit of a shame. I was going to buy the Mercedes just for the sound. Oh well

Even the regular Ford/Holden V8 doesn’t sound that accurate (IMO they just ripped the sound from the Nascars).

audio engineers when doing these cars - “yep just any old v8 sound will do”

That’s gutting to not have those unique sounds in there, especially for the S60. Could they perhaps be updated via patch?

Forza 6 celebrates 10 years of Turn 10 and Turn 10 takes a game with the sound effects of extremely lower than cars to two newly titles released for the first time:

Driveclub and Project Cars

Shame Dan, that shame Bil!

…tisc, tisc, tisc!

Ummm, just a thought thats semi off topic
Check the Forza Hubs story about the #17 FGX Bathurst Comp. All photos of the car in track is at Sydney Motorsport Park (Eastern Creek)
I wonder if its a secret hint of a possible DLC,since the XY GTHO is coming in an upcoming carpack

Yeah I don’t know why Turn 10 just assumes all V8s sound exactly the same… go play FH2 and compare the 2013 Shelby GT500, Maserati QP, and Mercedes SLS. They all sound completely different and very much like their real life counterparts. FM just gives them “generic V8 sound.”
