title says it really, will we be able to use the horn on our wheels in the full game? i use a g920 and i think it is very strange and maybe even bad if people who are serious and use a wheel cant use the horn simply because t10/pg doesnt think about us wheel users. i wont use a pad on a racing game, especialy not just because a design decision prevent me from using the horn with my wheel. and the g920 has the lsb and rsb buttons. i hope someone knows more about this, i hope t10 or pg can say more about it.

yes i agree i have like 4 buttons i could use for the horn on my steering wheel (using thrustmaster) its just unfair that we cant use it it may seem like a really small thing but for me it still makes a difference (for online mode)

i think that if you use it with ai you can race against them or get them to travel with you, so if we cant use the horn we also miis out on that and on gameplay elements, and thats not what should be happening. i also asked it on twitter to ralph fulton but also there no answer. seems like wheel users are missing out.

This is really ridiculous and unfair… I’m hoping this is fixed for us wheel users AND the FFB aswell. I have like 4 buttons that don’t do anything that can be used for a horn… I can’t even look back on my wheel when using the autoclutch feature. So disapointed with this game so far.
Same issue using g920 and can’t set the horn to any button, on control pad you have to click the right stick, pretty big oversight for wheel users, hope they acknowledge and fix this
Its not a fix turn 10/playground can make. When microsoft implemented wheels they never included the rs and ls buttons. So unless microsoft decide to change this its never going to happen. Mappable buttons on the other hand…
I can’t believe we still don’t have mappable buttons. Surely many users would like to change a couple buttons. The fanatec handbrake is working with dirt rally, why is it never implemented in forza series. We have the handbrake settings in the menu since, what forza 2? And yet, still cannot use it. I could understand if the xbox one couldn’t detect it, but it is working great in Dirt rally, and sebastien rally…mappable buttons could maybe fix this as well.
However, I love the game so far. Thank you, the wait was unbearable. Finally playing horizon 3 is great!

Using a Clubsport V2 … with the universal hub. Can’t seems to get any buttons to “horn” …oh well
This and the fact there is no wireless chat headset. I have to talk to people via Kinect. And you know how that goes. No way to plug in a headset to the wheel.
Once you are in game you can turn on a regular controller with a headset plugged into it and use that to chat. You just need to remember to wiggle the buttons once every 15 minutes or it will go to sleep
Can’t we turn off at the Xbox One settings the function that turns controller off automatically?
No sadly you cannot. Even if the controller is plugged into USB it will still go to sleep every 15 minutes. With the old Xbox and I think even this new one before a patch you could just plug it in and it would stay on the whole time, then they changed something and it goes to sleep regardless of if it’s battery powered or USB powered. This is totally ridiculous that you can’t disable the sleep mode or at least plug it in for permanent on state.
I use the USB cable for my controller while I’m using my wheel… I’ve donemany 2 hour endurance races online and the controller never shuts off even though it’s sitting on a table untouched… so I’m not sure why yours turns off?
yup mine stays on also while being plugged. I have a day one xbox. maybe it’s something to do with the newer versions.
You can use a headset just turn on a controller with a headset plugged in after your wheel is on and join a party…
Mappable buttons is needed - I dont know why they dont allow this? I dont use the photo button 99% of the time so I dont see why I cant change this button to the horn (strange to not have this in forza?)
or at least allow a button on the controller to be used. I mean I can rewind, look around etc… from the controller when the wheel is connected so allow the horn please?
