Nice idea guys. JUST GREAT!
This is the second time you guys screwed up a endurance race for me with that stupid auto-update system.
The first time I didn’d really mind, because I was only a couple of laps in the race at the Nordschleife, this time however I was TWO HOURS into the Sebring one.
Who came up with that idea to apply these updates even if someone is in the middle of a race?
What were you thinking???

I’ll keep that one in the back of my mind the next time I decide if it is worth to spend some of my hard earned money on you. You obviously don’t care about any of us.

Something like this should not happen. Why have races that take 3+ hours to complete if it’s a lottery to complete them or not?
This is just unacceptable.
I dont understand it either, me and my friend were doing our own kind of endurance race online, half an hour into yas marina and im booted out bc of the update. I like having the auto update system on so that they are downloaded either when im at college or sleeping, but having them appear whilst playing the game is unacceptable. What has it even done to the game btw?
Phew lucky me, I only finished an endurance a couple hours ago.
Really sorry for you guys, that’s truly awful especially on the very longest endurance races. I would probably be breaking something right now I do feel your pain.
dont do endurance races on tuesdays anymore i guess but, if they want to update the game, they arent going to ask for permission. would be nice to get an early notice and know what the update fixed.

I was hot lapping at the time, was up a little over my fastest lap and on the final straight when the update hit and blew it.
I went back out afterwards and ran several more laps but was unable to match the lap I had going when the update hit.
Not nearly as bad as if I had been in a long race but still not a good thing to have happen. No game should auto update while in the middle of a session.
I got to ask cause im quite certain there is…Isnt there an option in xbox settings to have auto update on or off?
Understandably the op is angry but the update is in our control if you set it up that way… Turn tens not at fault.Neither is xbox… I have mine set to auto too…
What is this update about?
I dont see one on mine unless it auto updated already as well…
The worst thing about this is that a “corrupted saved game file” is very probably.
Trying to fix two details, considering other big issues that the game still has, and broke the game-progress-career-effort-cars-money…etc.
I said on another post: a corrupted saved game file is a DRAMA, and this kind of practices is an exponential % to crash a file. Incredible from a software company like MS.
And the ice of the cake is that i beat my own record in Rivals RWD Drift at Lime Rock wich i just made a while ago. It takes me a big effort and…woah!! is not there because servers gone just when i did it.
I hope this guys has a backup method to restart or add the times, points, results while they shut down the servers; at least Driveclub has it…and i´m saying Driveclub since almost the beginning, so go figure XD
