I just booted up Forza and there’s a 100mb update, couldn’t find anything on it. Anybody knows?
When was the last time you played? As far as I know the last update we got was the December Content Update which came out on the first of the month. If you haven’t fired up FM6 since November, that’s probably what you’re downloading.
I played about 10 hours ago just gone on and had this update too.
Just fired it up and had an update too. No idea what was changed, but I played all weekend so it’s not the November one.
There was an Xbox update today. Is that what your referring too?
Played this morning, and the update was specifically forza 6, as it said forza 6 needs an update.
Yeah I play almost daily and today I got booted off the game for this 100mb update wonder what it’s about
in last week’s WIR, it was not mentioned there would be an update to fix a crash issue with Ford 350/GTR

Haha. You are waaaaay too paranoid. Nobody is out to get you. The cars that are stationary at the start are a symptom of the disconnect issue. They are not the cause.

One thing I hate about Xbox One is each time the system prompts you for an update…it doesn’t say what version or you can’t even check what current firmware the game is running on.
Updates for the Forza/Horizon series of games are announced by the developers, but don’t be confused between GAME updates and Xbox One Updates.
Updates for Xbox One come from Xbox Live, and are generally announced in advance via such sources as majornelson.com. We can all check the current version of the X1 operating system by going into the left pane, Settings/All Settings/System and then Console info & updates. The OS version is listed, as well as your Serial number and Console ID.
If you select Latest update status, the system will tell you Last updated (date & time), Last automatic update check and Latest status.
Thanks Snowowl but I meant game firmware and not console. I don’t recall you can choose a game and Verify what version you’re currently on. I guess I’m spoiled since on my other console which I won’t name I can easily check the info.
