So I’m on lap 37 of 82 in the Sebring enduro and I pause the game for a break and when I come back my machine says it’s time for an UPDATE and it kicks me out of my race!!! I even chose the “do it later” option but my race was still gone.!!! I am so TICKED OFF! [Mod edit - WSD - Moderation policy is not discussed on the forums]

I am so disappointed at this point even though I got over the stupid way T10 arranged the career podium criterion.

This is the nature of Xbox updates. They’ve always been this way.

Only if you have Instant on, my xb1 is on energy save, so when am in paint room update pops and says if I say no to the update it puts me in offline but I can still carry on painting, I save come out of Forza then update.

If you going to do long races I would start F6 then jump to dashboard and put xb1 in offline then jump back to F6, that way no problems with updates, then go back online while you still in F6.

Yes I will do that. It’s better than smashing my machine with a baseball bat.

Well, I know that frustration.

I said it a couple days ago in a different thread, but I just finished the Nurburgring 125 and my game crashed as I crossed the line. That hour and 12 minutes…gone. Didn’t acknowledge that I did it, didn’t get XP or CR, nothing. So my issue wasn’t with an update, but it was booting out of an endurance race. It sucks, I know Just gotta restart it I guess.

And on the bright side, if you have your game and console fully updated, then the next time you run it (soon, ideally), you shouldn’t run into an update!
