Race Rewards!! ( more like no rewards )

Well I’ve just finished 50 laps of Nurburgring in the HE BMW M4 took me 7hr & 45min to complete and i get nothing for it no XP no Credits and it also used my 3 super rare mods i had installed aswell i mean [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] is going on anyone care to explain on how Forza has made such a monumental [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D].

In all honestly this has happened before on other games and ive had it resolved so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be nice.

What assists did you use? If you used any of the super assists you wont get any awards according to others who have tested it. IE, assisted steering or braking.

yea i did stick it on super easy for a about 8 laps while i was eating, good to know anyway but abit [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] that you get nothing after that much time :frowning:

So why not just pause while you eat? Nothing should come free

If you use Super Easy at all and you do more than 1 lap you get nothing
Maybe pause it next time

So no point in doing the endurance showcase events other than to get a tick to say you have done them, kind of takes away any incentive to complete the game, well done to Turn 10 for screwing up your own game.

You dont need to use Super Easy settings
They haven’t screwed anything
They have those long events in previous games too

There’s a lot of people that enjoy those long races without having to rubber band the controller

I have also seen people mention the same thing happening on the other settings too.

So why have they included the Super easy settings if they don’t want people to use them?

Also I was unaware of the rubber band on the controller until you mentioned it, kind of suggests its a method you have used yourself.

And yes I am aware of the endurance races in Forza since the very first one.

Rubber banding or jamming the trigger is something that happens in many games where they have included stupid settings like the super easy settings so they can go off and do something else rather than actually play the game
Gee it must be fun to just hold the trigger down for a few hours as well …so much effort involved …got a sore finger lol

They probably included them for people with a disability or young kids
Wondering why you would be using them unless you fall into those categories
interested to know why some people use these settings but no one has said why

T10 really need to put it in the description of these Super Easy settings that if you use them you will get no credits or xp
Just like in the description of friction assist it says it will automatically dirty the lap

I was about to ask that same question, but you beat me to it.
Looks like T10 isn’t fond of descriptions - annual ultimate edition vs car packs/expansions, VIP description, now this and also, in general, the features the game(s) has(have). I don’t know why there is no booklets, that describe the game, its features and mechanics, with games anymore. I remember the games having booklet (sometimes even more than one booklet) that had more text and pictures in it than some novel or magazine. Nowadays one could do that digitally without the printing and paper cost and with minimal distribution cost.

Has this been recently implimented? I’ve let my kids do some races before on super easy and they gained me some XP and credits.

I can’t remember if it was FM3 or FM4 but you could hire drivers and therefore complete the bucket list achievement without racing yourself. The super easy difficulty in FM7 sounds like an improvement on this. As someone who has limited use of my left hand due to ulnar nerve damage following a small stroke I can see me using this difficulty setting. There aren’t many games that are this user friendly. Thanks T10.

It’s the super easy steering that does it. I’ve just done 2 lots of 2 laps of Indy oval with full assists on only changing super easy steering. Assisted got rewards, super easy didn’t, and I was still actively controlling what I could. This I did after getting nothing for a 50 lap race in which I wanted to have a play around with the assists because it was pretty dull even with the football on in the background.

Those of you moaning about why people use it are missing the point. I couldn’t give a toss if super easy steering provides no rewards provided WE ARE TOLD SO!!!

As it happens I was quite enjoying the challenge of using the setting and lapping cars without crashing just by judging how my use of accelerator and braking together with the auto steering gave you so much control over the car’s position on the track.

I was certainly not absent or rubber banding, just trying to earn some cash and make things interesting. Had I the slightest notion that knocking super easy steering on for literally just a few laps of the 50 I did I would result in an unexplained, un-notified, petulant withholding of ANY kind of rewards whatsoever then I wouldn’t have done so. The lack of warning is the issue here, not the mechanic.

Not a happy bunny, especially as it used up my VIP cards. And I seem to be one of the few here who has really been enjoying the game up to now, despite having to restart my pc every few races to minimise CTD’s.

Booo!

It does seem a bit daft to include these settings so that someone can use them if they choose and then they get punished for using them especially since no warning is given, and as for people saying that people shouldn’t be using those settings well surely that is up to the individual after all they have paid their money for the game so they are entitled to use whatever settings they choose.

Same thing happened to me. I didn’t waste 8 hours on it… not sure how you do that… but yeah, I’ve found that if you do more than one lap it knocks out any credits. And it is ridiculous because there is absolutely no warning for this anywhere. Glad I only did 5 laps and not 10 or more.

And those criticizing, let’s be real… when you find out there’s a possibility of earning some serious cash from holding down one button… who wouldn’t take that… it’s not like that’s how you’d play the entire game… just a good way to get a head start…

OP: I hope they do award you what you deserve from it cause there should be a warning, and again, it’s inconsistent with getting credits for a single lap but not more than.
