Hi,
I’ve been trying to understand the class categories figures, and each classes limit.
For example - If I chose the mx5 in Class D it says ‘365’ beside the D category. What is the highest number possible in Class D before moving into another Class? What are the limits for each class from the lowest to the highest?
And lastly, when I am in the garage for upgrades how will I know if the upgrades I apply will tip the car over into another class before applying/buying them?
365 goes to 400 so 400 is the Class D limit and so on. C=500, B = 600, A = 700 and so on!
perfect, but can i ask where you found this out.? Is it somewhere on Forza 5 or did you too have to ask someone else??? i just find so much of the basic info on F5 so hard to find…
Understanding the PI system is just a matter of tinkering with the cars in the upgrade menu. When you go to upgrade a vehicle, highlighting each respective component will show the amount of horsepower, weight, etc. that each component provides. Additionally, you can see how the vehicle’s PI will be rated before paying for the upgrade based on the variables the component modifies.
For basic information on Forza (and all Xbox One applications and titles), you can access the Help feature.

Look at the class based rivals leaderboards.
The game will also auto upgrade cars to the top of a desired class. That’s how I learned. Before a career race, act like you’re going to buy a car a see where the game bumps the PI to.
Trial and error is another method.
The game isn’t user friendly and is a common complaint.

When you’re upgrading you can see how the PI changes when you highlight an upgrade. So I just upgrade my car as much as I can until it spills over, then I don’t buy that upgrade. If my car is 501, and spill into B class, well I guess 500 is the limit for C. You just sort of figure it out.
